Barricade replica attracts law enforcement in New Mexico.

KRQE news out of Albuquerque, New Mexico reports that a Las Vegas, New Mexico man by the name of Jessie Vigil has attracted the attention of local law enforcment. Why do you ask? Mr. Vigil has decorated his 2007 Mustang to resemble Barricade from the 2007 Transformers movie .

Oh yes, that WILL get the police looking at you. This man is really dumb. If he hadn't put the word "police" on each door, he'd have little or no problem. Similar colors and deacals to an offical police vechile are fine. But, you CAN NOT put anything on a civilian car that would declare it to be any type of emergency vechile.

Who would want to do such a dumb thing in the first place? If he wanted to make his vehicle look like the first Transformer that he bought for his kid, then he should have bought him Ironhide then bought himself a GMC pickup.

I wonder if having a siren but not the word police would be bad... I assume it would.

On a side note, GMC actually sells a Topkick designed exactly like movie Ironhide. It's rather expensive I believe.

Yeah, Iornhide ain't cheap. It starts around $85,000 before you start optioning out the interior. And, one thing I know about cars/trucks you pay more for luxury/style than you do for power/performance. Depending on options you wanted to add you could easily break the $100,000 mark even before tax, title, and licence.
