Wreck-Gar in TF Animated & TF- movie of the Year?

IMDB has some interesting information about Transformers Animated characters. We knew from the David Kay Pannel at BotCon 2007 that Weird Al will be guest voicing a Garbage Truck, but now we know that his name will be none other than Wreck-Gar! Very fitting considering the placement of Weird Al's song "Dare to be Stupid" in the origional animated Transformers Movie and of course the reference to "junk". Susan Blu (voice director and Voice of RC in Animated as well as G1) is really giving a clear nod to the original G1 fans here!

Also the new Transformers movie was one of ten films nominated to be one be declared "Movie of the Year" at the Hollywood Movie awards annual Gala on October 22nd. The Movie is chosen by public vote so make sure you head over to their webside to vote!

Wreck-Gar in Animated is old news I think, but the vote is cool, I voted for Transformers of course, and it's in the lead! Although 300 is following really close by 1%. So far nothing else is getting close to TF and 300.

And surely everybody should know Arcee is not spelt RC.

I definitly voted for Transformers, and it's surpassing 300 by 6 votes! Also, I thought it was an odd idea of Weird Al Yankovic as Wreck-Gar, since the role originally belonged to Monty Python's Eric Idle.

I didn't know that Wreck-Gar was the name of the garbage truck either Perceptor. And, I can't wait to get the toy. I've been wanting a garbage truck TF since the day I started re-collecting 5 years ago. I have an obvious personal bias to the toy, but I still want it. After all in 23 years of Transformers this will be the first garbage truck.

And vote I did...for Ratatoullie, because Transformers was nothing but an insult to everything I hold dear from opening frame to final credit roll.
