Forum topics now appear on Unicron.com

Deep in the labs of Unicron.com, I've been secretly developing a new site feature. It's so secret in fact, that my brothers are just finding out about it as they read these words! As of now, the recent topics from our forum (kindly hosted by AllSpark.com) display on the main page of Unicron.com (in the left column). It's not a huge feature, but I'm hoping that it brings our forum more to the forefront of our site, and more people will see (and post?) when new topics get started there.

Also, I won't bore anyone with the details, but the mechanics of getting this to work are waaay more than it seems. I have no idea why I didn't lose patience with it before I was able to finish!

Also, one more note, I've heard some complaints about having to get an AllSpark user name to post on our forum. Well, my answer to that is, if we had a forum of our own, you'd need a Unicron.com user name anyway. Why not have just one user name to post on effectively 2+ site forums? Hey, it's 2 birds with one stone.

Oh, I've had a few issues while testing where that area on the left column looks absolutely horrible. If it does for you, try clicking the reload/refresh button in your browser.

I like this, I didn't go to the Unicron sub-forum a lot due to the out of the way-ness. I already had made an account there though.

To people who find a problem with making an account for a forum, it is really nothing to worry about, it is a simple process where you don't even have to give your real name and it is totally free. You choose what information you want to share.

The regular forum link is unchanged. The new part, is that threads are listed in detail further down, (labeled "Latest forum threads"). Like I said, it's not a huge feature, but hopefully a convenient way to see forum activity.
