We here at Unicron.com want to hear you crazy, funny, or even weird stories that relate to Transformers. I'll start with something that happened to me this past weekend.

I was watching the DVD on Saturday in my apartment with a few friends, and we thought we heard a knock at the door. I got up and looked through the peep hole and no one was there. I sat down and continued to watch the movie. About two minutes later we heard a banging at the door. So we paused the movie and all went to the door opened it up and it was the township Police Department.

They said "Sir, is everything alright?"

To which i replied "Yes? Why?"

The Officer said "We've received numerous calls reporting an explosion from this residence"<--- (I swear thats what he said!!)

I said "your kidding, right?!" .......

"No sir this is not a joke" ........

"Well, were just here watching a movie"...........

"Ok sir, im sorry but im going to have to write you a ticket for violating the local noise ordinance." (It was after 10:00 pm and we had the surround sound full blast, so i admit i was being an jerk having it that loud that late).....

I said "WHAT! im getting a ticket for watching a movie!?!"......

The officer replied "Yes being that we had multiple calls about this and you were violating noise ordinances we have to give you this ticket"

I turned to my friend and said "Great googley moogley more money ive got to spend on Transformers!".......

And this is when it gets awesome!

The officer said "Oh you guys are watching Transformers, huh?".....

My reply, "Yeah, why?"

Then the Officer pulled up his shirt sleeve to reveal a tattoo of Barricades police shield (you know the one with the decepticon logo in it)

I said "oh man thats sweet!"

Then he said "I tell you what, just turn it down and we'll forget about the fine."

I said "Of course! Thank you!" and then he left.

So, theres my story lets hear all of yours.

By the way guys and gals this any many other topics can be found and discussed in the forum here. Its free to join so dont be shy! <<Shamless Plug>>

I was trying to find Leader Class Megatron ever since the Movie toys came out. Today, I finally bought one. Talk about patience paying off.

I bought the Voyager Megatron because that was all I saw before.

That actually reminded me of another story Megatron,

A few years back i was driving at like 2am (i drive an 02 neon with a decepticon logo on the hood) there was literally no one on the road. i was stopped at a light looked in the rear view and saw a set of headlights coming in the other lane. as it got closer i noticed it was another silver neon and they had an autobot logo on their hood. i honked my horn to try to get the drivers attention but i guess they thought i was just some sort of nut and ignored me. they sped off never to be seen. about two weeks later i went to the local toys r us and saw the same car in the parking lot. i went into the store did my shopping came out to the parking lot and the other car was gone but there was a note on my car saying "Sweet car" with a phone number. And to make a long story longer he and i have been good friends since.

I don't have a real good story. But on Facebook, one of my friends asked if people thought she was a nerd being she liked the Transformers movie so well. I replied and said if anyone calls me a nerd, I'll blast them with my G1 Megatron pistol!

I wish I had stories that good, sadly not, but this is the time in my life where such can be generated.

Although this isn't my story technically, I was once on the road and saw a minivan parked at a fast food restaurant. This minivan was decorated with Decepticon symbols and pictures of the constructicons along with the phrase "Merge for the Kill." I couldn't help but love it.

I was at a movie theater yesterday, and we parked next to a Pontiac Solstice, my friend's little 6 year old walked up to it, with the owner still next to the car and said, "Don't worry Jazz, I like your new body, even if no body does!". We all had a good laugh!

It's interesting to me that no one is commenting on the forum boards, only in the news comments area... hm.

Anyway, my recent story, although not quite as brilliant as HumanError's involves the first time I saw TF movie (outside of Botcon early showing) in a theater. As I was walking out, a group of high school aged kids were also leaving the theater. One said to the other, "So, what did you think?" The friend replied, "it was good. I mean, yeah it was no Beast Wars, but I liked it!"

W/ all the online fan-mania over G1, I think we forget that there is a generation of fans who grew up on Beast Wars and see that as their nostalgia! :) That moment just struck me as quite funny.
Master Dex said,  - 2007-10-24 10:02:58
Ah yes, can't forget us of the BW age my friend... I may have gone back and adopted G1, but I started with Beast Wars.

I don't usually post things, but this one is a good one.

About three years ago, I was taking care of my daughter while my wife was on vacation in New York with a friend of hers. Being as my daughter was 1 and a half years old, we were watching G1 episodes on DVD one morning before she went to "Mommy and me" preschool. So I take her to preschool, and as she's the youngest one there, these twin boys decided to pick on her. They were three, and she's a year and a half...not a fair fight, right? They knocked her down with a block, and she fell pretty hard. She got up, looked at me, and I nodded at her. She took the block, knocked the first twin in the head, and took him down. His brother tackled her, and she got up, shoved him down, and took him out with the same block. After this, ANOTHER boy comes up and knocks her down again, and she essentially took him out too. After all this, she puts her hands up in the air, and says "AUTOBOT!" It was at that point I realized I had screwed up my kid for life. To this day, she loves Transformers, has watched the movie, and tells all her friends she's "Daddy's little Autobot."

How's that story? >;-P

I think I can top that. I waited until a long time after they had Cybetron Primus out before I got him! It's true. I bought him just this Sunday.

My daughter is four and a half now, and I also have a four month old girl now too...the family was watching the movie the day it came out on DVD, and during it, my four month old rolled over for the first time...we think it was b/c of all the explosions made her try to get out of the way...

well, considering that I grew up in the beast wars era, I dont really have that much to tell except for the time that I went to a local store in my closest mall called nuetral zone,(they carry toys, trade toys, buy toys and have video games too), well anyway I had been wanting to own a g1 megatron ever since I layed eyes on it but never had enough to purchase one off of ebay, well things changed after I visited the store that day, I managed to find a g1 megs that was missing his right arm as usual,(has anyone else noticed this?), and bought him the next day with my 50 dollars that I had saved up, I had never had a happier day in my life!!!!!!!!!! I kid you not, I dont know why but every time I lay eyes on a g1 figure in a store I go crazy! One would probably think that,"awe, it's just another old, lame, show inacurate version of a transformer", but man!!!! I just never get old with the oldies! I realise that its not that big of a deal but I think it is. Makes me proud to be a transformers fan!!!

Reminds me of the time my first Transmetal Megatron. I asked a month later for an original t-rex Megatron, but instead got the Transmetal. I was little back then, and didn't know the meaning of "discontinued".

This happened last September. I was at the Magic Kingdom at Disney World for the event Night of Joy. My dad had arranged for us to meet with the music artist Steven Cutis Chapman sometime before he went on to perform. I was wearing my Autobot symbol shirt and he recognized the symbol. We got talking briefly, he said he'd seen the movie three times, one time more than I had at the time (until I saw it in IMAX). But what shocked me was that his first seeing of the film was at the premiere in the Philipines. Yes, he was there. Apparently he was on tour there at the time.

I could list a lot of things that are cool about my life with Transformers.. but I'll have to go with owning the first two movie figures in my town. I don't know if anyone remembers me talking about it or not, but I took the announcement from Hasbro to Wal Mart here and used up about 45 minutes of my lunch hour arguing with several salespeople and managers until they finally scanned the figures to see if they'd ring up. And they did. So I got to buy them. After that, the boxes were taken off of the floor, instead of being put out like the store manager said that he was going to do with them. I had Bumblebee and Jazz, so I didn't care.

I often dream of TF related things that happen to me before they really happen. Most of them I help a little with though. For instance there was one day I dream I got a huge haul from a thrift store. That very same day I went to a thrift store I hadn't been to in years and found a bag with 20 or so armada figures for about 7 dollars. One of them was even a complete armada jetfire! There was also a wing from an armada starscream in this huge bag so I go online and search to find an armada starscream that happens to be missing a wing on transformerland.com so of course I ordered it for about 8 dollars and have a complete armada starscream out of it too now. That is just one example of many, I also dreamed I finally saw the new movie before I did too, but that was probably alot more obvious of a dream.
cyberwuss said,  - 2007-10-25 11:51:19
Unfortunately most of these were probably fate repaying me for a time when I was a kid in the same store in the late 80s and half the toy section that day was filled with TFs including about 5 or so of G1 soundwave and all I got was one small bag of them even though I begged my mom for some of the other G1 cooler ones I didn't have :<. I guess I've made up for it by now with all the TF stuff I have today though even if it was full of G1s that are often priced at over 100 usd today.

I am a big fan of the transformers and I always have been. Most of my internet passwords are "megatron."
My story or event happens after we saw the movie. my wife and friends went to the late showing to see it and the next day, every time me and my wife would ride together and see a big rig she'd say, "There's Optimus Prime!" and laugh real hard about it. Even today, she says it sometimes.
As far as Beast Wars goes, I love it and if you missed any of the shows you can see a lot of them on veoh.com.
One bad story is that I never had a G1 Megatron and I got one at a comic shop back in 2003, but later I dropped him and broke him! I was so pissed! But before that happened I was riding with my best friend one day with him in gun mode and I pointed at a van in passing. At first they got scared, but then the laughed at I could read the lips of the passenger as he said, "That's Megatron!"
Sabrblade said,  - 2007-10-26 11:02:29
Bad move, Ultratron. giving away your password to the public. Do you know how dangerous that is? And pointing a realistic gun at people. What if they didn't know about Megatron? You could've been in serious trouble.

I don't have an exciting or funny story, only the realization of a childhood dream:
Ever since the Gen1 Predacons first came out, I've wanted them. I mean, you had five equally-sized Transformers that could turn into animals, and then COMBINE to form a huge gesalt! I was young when Gen1 was discontinued, but old enough to realize that my dream of owning these guys was now far-fetched....Until Gen2 came out and, again, I began to hope. Alas, once again my dreams were dashed away. Fast-foward a few more years. Now I have a steady-paying job. Job=money. Money good. E-bay became my friend. But the price ranges of the original Predacons STILL kept them out of my reach. *insert sadness here*
And then Takara, in their glorious wisdom, reissued the Gen1 Predaking giftset, in all their die-cast contruction glory, for a price I now could finally afford!!!
!!!!!!!WHHOOOO-HOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
It was - and I know this is sad - one of the happiest moments of my life. Sure, I was about $190.00 poorer but, in my opinion, they were well worth it. They now sit in the center in one of my many shelves devoted to my collection.
Now, if I can just get the Seacons... :)

One of my 'best friends' had a decepticon tattoo on his shoulder. He tried to run off with a particularly lousy girlfriend of mine when I was away on vacation. Of course my other friends informed me of this. So, I managed to find a late-night tattoo parlor in South Jersey that would give me an Autobot tattoo on my chest, and I showed up on her front porch shirtless, screaming and still bleeding from the new ink. He was there with her of course, he took one look at me out the window, called the police on me and fled when I was in cuffs. He continued living in fear and fleeing from me whenever he heard that I visited town for the next 5 years.

This happened Thursday and yesterday. I was riding home from school on my bike. As I was approaching the upcoming intersection, one of the vehcles in the oncoming traffic was a-- I couldn't tell if it was a motorcycle, moped, motorscooter, or something else. But as it passed me, I briefly caught a glimpse of it and it was in the exact same colors as the Target-exclusive Scout-class movie Arcee.

The next day, as I was riding in the car going somewhere, I saw another motorcycle ridden by someone else, but it too was colored just like Scout-class Arcee. Two different bikes, both colored like Acree, two days in a row. Imagine that.

I was driving and was approaching an intersection when the light turned red. As I slowed down I saw a big red truck cab that looked alot like Optimus... as I thought out to myself the word Optimus, I said the word... PRIME! The trailer on its back was in sight and it had the word PRIME on the whole side!!!. I dunno if thats a brand or what, but it was like WOW!

The guy who delivered the movies was also a fan!! we started talking about the 2007 movie and all. and he even fixed our DVD so it works like a multizone!! awesome!

OK maybe not the biggest moment but as a dad this is up there.
Last week my wife went to Target in WA (I live in BC and we do not have Target). My son(8)saw a neat Autobot cap. back with white front, and gray Autobot logo. not only did he ask my wife for one. He insisted she buy a matching one for me, so we both have TF hats.
I may not be that big on caps or people wearing matching outfits. but the fact that this proves the TF's have become a great bridge for the Generation gap that our parents had a harder time with.
I love the fact that TF's are one the things that help me bond with both my son and my daughter (4).

on a different track. How Cool is it the the Movie Arcee is scaled to fit GI-Joe's?

I personality feel that this is one of the Coolist developments in TF's in a while. my Storm Shadow looks so cool on top of Arcee. Cant wait till the black one comes out for Snake eyes. this is one TF that I will be buying any variation that comes out

Hope more TF's will fit Joe's

Sabrblade, arcee's color scheme is very common for products aimed at girls. You
just were too excited. If you see a yellow car you automatically think "bumblebee!" or "sun-streaker!" or "hotshot" even if it"s just a normal car. I know.
