It's a Site update smorgasbord, having checked a few things off our site's "to do" list, you'll find the following updates:

* G1 Perceptor character page updated w/ new toy pictures & thanks to Blasten Blaster, a stop motion transformation video!

* I've updated the character Vector Prime c.p. to include original concept art by Don Figueroa. I have also put together the oh-so-humble beginnings of a character page for Animated Soundwave, which, for now, includes only a similar art piece: the concept art used for the design of Animated Soundwave (both unicron.com exclusives!)

* You will also find many updates in the 2008 Transformers Section including loads of new box pictures added (and linked to in the database). Thanks to tfw2005 and tformers boards members for alerting the fandom to all these new toy in-box pix!

* The media section (left column) of 2003 Transformers has been updated w/ episode titles, original air dates and descriptions for the second half episodes of the "Unicron Battles" series. woo-HA!

Yes BB. that's the one I bought as a kid. Notice I didn't take any pix in robot mode. This one has a face painted blue eyes to match the show (even tho the rest of the face totally doesn't match, I wanted the eyes on mine blue! :) Years later I bought another un-altered Perceptor toy, but it's at my bro's home, so I couldn't add pix of bot mode!

Smogasbord: is a buffet style meal, usually denoting multiple courses and wide variety of hot and cold dishes, emphasis on the *wide variety* part! :)

In reference to the top line of his CP, that is. Or is it in reference to actually trying to keep up with the CP's? You be the judge. Only about a third of the toys have what I would call a complete CP. That is, not just a few pix and the box bio. On the plus side, over 70 percent of G1 is done.

seems like some allspark power figs are even better than their predecessors I may pick one =)

by the way, this might be a little off-topic but since some characters form the comics are really really old (superman will be 70 years old this year I think) I was wondering what would it be like for you guys the 100Th anniversary of the transformers brand?
of course, this is mere speculation but I just wanted to know.
for me, the coolest thing would be a real-scale TF showdown =)
