I had forgotten about the TransTech designs. Some of them look similar to final movie designs. For those of you who aren't club members (shame on you, it's worth it!) Sunstreaker looks amazing. He looks like a deluxe sized alternator. It is easy to see how a Sideswipe recolor will be made to transform differntly, yet only require a new head sculpt.

Dudes, this is super awesome! For one thing if we have a shot at getting a set of entirely new molded figures, that in and of itself would rock house! If were treated to a set of never before released Transtech toys?!!... That too kicks tail... To get to see Transtech stoyr produced by fans for fans... Sa-WEEEEET! And one other thing, when I think of the styling of Transtech, I can think of no comic artist whose own artistic style better suits these characters than Alex Milne...

Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god. I've been waiting for Transtech... well, it seems like forever now. It's like coming home seeing Cheetor and Silverbolt again, albeit in new forms and bodies, but it's them. I really need to join the collector's club. A while back IDW produced a collection of the 12 issues featuring Vector Prime that closed up the Universe line. I'm really hoping they do it again for the Classicverse stories and this Transtech story. I honestly can't wait to see this story unfold.

The more I think about it, the more I think, hmm not very likely that we'll get Transtech toys. But you can chalk that up to my wishful thinking... Here's hoping!

Will this story have any effect on the already established Universe storyline or the Beast Wars Reborn story?

Ever since they announced Transtech would be the TFCC story, I thought they might have something up their sleeves for BotCon. Like you said, some of those toys were produced as prototypes. Here's hoping.

Sabr, I would be prepared for the Reborn continuity to just get destroyed one day. Considering that it is completely a Japanese exclusive and it's a pretty bad one, just be ready for that. As it stands, however, it doesn't look like
Transtech is taking place right after Beast Machines like it originally would. And considering that the CC comics continue from where Universe left off, I highly doubt they are going to do anything to take those out of continuity.

oh and guys, I'm sorry but I eased up last night and did something I thought I'd never do. I bought something other than transformers! I went to a local slackers store and picked up marvel legends Blackheart.just thought I'd try something new! I'm very impressed with the figure. pretty good ranges of posablilty for not being a transformer."I need TP for my bungholio!" LMAO!

My eyes widened when I read that. I never thought they'd revisit Transtech! I am quite excited, I hope they go through with this. I know we probably won't get figures but at the very least a comic book story of Transtech detailing what happens post BM, that would make me happy. I liked the Transtech designs when I first saw them and wished they hadn't been cancelled considering what we got in exchange (As Grimlock says: Car Robots BAD!!).

I hope animated doesn't end so soon either. But what I would like to see even though we already have G1, is a CGI show by mainframe done for classics. it won't happen but oh well.

I've been wondering if they would make a coronation set. Do you know if it will be available in US... I doubt it though. It would be a great addition to my Starscream.

(I think you mean Wingsaber, which is an Ultra version of the same type of plane...) I thought the exact same thing LM. I *really* hope it's not that also.

Well, we are getting a new Onslaught. It's not a redeco of the Energon Barricade figure. So we should be getting what we deserve.

Tyscream, Transtech was the series that was supposed to come after Beast Machines. Instead, however, they decided to dub the Japanese Anime series Car Robots and made Robots in Disguise to fill the gap between the years before they could start the Unicron Trilogy with Armada. Transtech was meant to merge the continuities of the time featuring Beast Era characters such as Cheetor, Silverbolt, and Depthcharge and put them with G1 characters such as Optimus Prime, Megatron and Shockwave. Like I said, the series was dropped and left the world with concept art and a few prototype toys and we never thought we'd see the series come to life. This is a big event in Transformers histroy. And unless you are like us and you follow up on the TFs online and such, not many will know it exists, just like few seem to know that it was meant to.

Tyscream, I got Mario Kart DS. But I haven't played it in a long time, so I've lost some of my experience.

Also, to elaborate more on what TPR said, Transtech would takes the use of animal and vehicle altmodes to the next level. The altmodes would be vehicles with animal features. For example, Cheetor would no longer a cheetah. He would be a racecar-like vehicle with a cheetah head at the vehicle's front. And Depth Charge would've a submersible that turned into a warrior merman-like robot mode.

Yeah, I hope Powerglide doesn't isn't a repaint of Cybertron Jetfire or Wingsaber. I have a gut feeling it is, being it's an ultra. If it is a repaint of Wingsaber, it will look good combined with Cybertron Prime. The legends version, which was supposed to be Powerglide, (I can't remenber the name they used)was a repaint of Jetfire. The one I'm the most excited for is Octane.

Buying something that's not Transformers is okay, I still like my old Rock Lords!

Tyscream, I own the two best games for the Nintendo DS, Transformers Autobots and Transformers Decepticons. I like the Decepticon game better. I have other games as well.

Transtech is very interesting, I heard about it on the extras on one of my G1 cartoon DVDs when they visited Botcon. I don't know much about it, but I think they should continue it. I give a two thumbs up to anything connected to G1 and Beast Wars eras. I noticed something with Transtech and War Within. War Within is their Cybertronian forms and Transtech is a return of Cybertronian forms only way more advanced.

I read about Transtech a long time ago, there were even toy prototypes of Starscream and Cheetor, Starscream was supposed to be an electronic deluxe! and there was a fake prime prototype that turned up to be a drawing of a truck and a gundam robot

still the images posted in tformers.com were really promising I too hope they made molds of this stuff!!

I seen the pic of Sunstreaker. It's nice but is isn't something I'd say wow to either. He's for sure not a bad figure either. It's a definite must buy though. I can't wait to see Onslaught and Octane.
