Transformers Allspark Power Deluxes hit UK, Japanese Astrotrain is Grey

The Transformers the Movie Allspark Power Deluxes have hit the UK unexpectedly early - before even Payload and Dropkick are widely available in the UK and Cliffjumper, Landmine & Camshaft can be found now in UK Argos stores Item # 370/5199 (subject to stock availability).

Here's some images of my own I took to confirm this :

This is actually the second Sighting of major Allspark Power items in the UK - as First wave of The Legends Twin Packs showed up in UK Tesco supermarkets the week before.


In Japanese news :

Some might be pleased to know that Transformers Henkei D-03 Astrotrain Colors have been revealed to be quite like the 80's TV show or the Animated Movie and he's colored in a tasteful medium grey and purple.
Rather than the white of the Western Classics Astrotrain toy.

The figure is due for release on the 24th April in Japan and the initial story was broken by the Falcon Hanger. and an image can be found HERE

If you like Collectable figures then you might be interested in some new Transformers the Movie related metal Gashpon figures out in Japan they are made by M1toys include Bumblebee, Barricade, Megatron, & Optimus characters and come in normal silver or some of them also come in chase gold coloring.

It's not fair how the Japanese get something that Hasbro was too lazy to color properly. >:( I always knew that Astrotrain should be that color. But NO, Hasbro wants to make it look like the old toy. Well then, why bother giving it a show-accurately sculped head? Huh, Hasbro. Why go to all that trouble to make a show-accurate headmold if you're gonna give us the short end of the stick by painting toy-accurate?!!

About those new Allspark figs, My Wal-Mart Supercenter's got Landmine, Stockade, and Cliffjumper, while my Wal-Mart and Target have Camshaft.

As for those other figs, they look like their protoforms put on their Earth mode armor unpainted.

why is it that some of the figs that we dont get here in the us sport some of the same colors? think about some, md06 tidalwave, g1 astrotrain,etc. and why did they change tidalwaves colors in the first place?

The problem was they DIDN'T change tidal wave's colors. The animation studio's and takara were to lazy to use the design hasbro told them to use.

yeah, but the american ones'colors look like a multicolored dookie, imo. I just don't like the fact that its not show accurate and that most battleships dont look that gay.

Isn't the Shockwave colors the original colors and that is why they are on the show - and Hasbro added the green to Tidal wave due to (according to Aaron Archer) there was to much Purple in the line already.

Where as Supposedly the color scheme for Vector Prime was invented by the animated folks.

I think the colors given to either the Superlink Demolishor or to Armada's Demolishor Supermode / Powerlinx Demolishor have some responsibility with the animator as well - but it's such a long time ago now Its hard to remember if it was the green one or the red and white one.
