Oh, dang, how about that battle damage Animated OP? That thing is absurd! I particularly love the bullet scorch marks on his shield.

yeah that was great i particularly like the fact that (maybe i reading to much into this but) the fact that there was very little damage on his back, cuz you know prime doesnt turn his back on a fight!

Um... I'm not sure how to deal with the thought of a "mature" Sari. I guess that means I DO in fact have a conscience. :)

And, the "Golden Lagoon" reference was a very nice touch.

I really disagree about Milne's art being "amazing". I couldn't tell what was going on in Megatron Origins(but that was the least of its problems), and he tends to draw with wonky proportions similar to Pat Lee(Milne's Spotlight: Arcee cover is the worst). Not to mention he draws his TFs with vampire teeth.

Having that said, I love that custom Galvatron. That was what I expected the Classics version to look like.

Is Arcee supposed to be a berserker? Or is she possessed?

Why couldn't TF:A be animated like that? That art is perfect, save for Sari. A little too mature-looking there.

Interesting points Energon Hot Shot. To clarify, I didn't say I think all of Milne's art is amazing. Like you, I wasn't terribly fond of the Megatron origin series. It seemed maybe too busy/confusing or even too techno for a story about an early period in Cybertron history. I think his style is well suited for a Transtech story and think it worked well in the Energon Series. I just enjoyed seeing a comic artist's take on the characters (bots) of TF: Animated and think the coloring on that BB and Sari piece is amazing.

Shocking as they are, it sounds like we're all in complete agreement, we prefer the innocent and *platonic* 6-8 year old Sari to the raunchy manga teen.

The whole thing with Arcee is pretty much revolving around that there are no female Transformers. That may be shocking to younger viewers/readers, but Transformers are essentially genderless. They are capitalizing on that in the Arcee Spotlight where she is pretty much an experiment and that has side effects on her, as I understand it.

That being said, I don't think there is really anybody who will argue with you that Transformers who are female are girls or not. If you ever run into an elitist of that calibur, I'd just walk away if I were you.

I think the artwork is great. I agree that his artwork was really hard to follow at times in Megatron: Origins, and that really detracted from the series, but his work looks great in these pieces.

And yes, young Sari is the way I prefer her. It just seems that the older the kids are that the TFs are working with, the more annoying they are and tend to get in the way. I'll stick to the little girl that we've all come to know and love.
