That's a very nice version of Optimus!

Hmm, okay. Now that I've seen it, I'm a little confused. Its body-shape doesn't look as show-accurate as the other deluxe Prime toy does. And shouldn't his mouthplate go down further than that? He doesn't have The Chin(TM) like Starscream does. I still want it, but now I know what to expect.

I see another one for sale, I think I'll wait for it to hit the shelves here.

Here's what I want to know. The show has Optimus Prime's alternate mode sometimes a fire truck, sometimes a tractor/trailer style truck. Which is it? Is it a tractor that the trailer connects to and *then* looks like a fire truck? This toy, as cool as it is, doesn't look exactly like either of them. So am I to understand there are 3-5 TFA Optimus Prime toys coming out and not one of them turns into a fire engine? That's too bad.

Perceptor, I'm going with a comment I read somewhere about the odd alt mode(s) of TFA Prime. It appears he does have a trailer of sorts. He sometimes uses it and sometimes not. It depends on where he's going and what he's doing. The trailer does a better job of helping him blend if he wants to be discrete, it also seems to contain his battle ax. But, if he's "rolling out" to hang with Sari he doesn't need it.

Actually, the Optimus Blaster toy resembles his full fire truck vehicle mode.

Looks like Sari gives Prime an upgrade on his axe! And finally, an Autobot has a blaster! Now, will his blaster sound like G1 Primes like Megatron's cannon sounded like the G1 one? And does this mean the others get blasters too?

I want that figure so badly!
