I'm looking forward to deep space Starscream, but otherwise, I'll tell you what, even the "completeist" in each of us brothers is tapped out on the movie recolors! Cliffjumper, Overcast, and Salvage... They're all good. But take a guy like Jazz where there has been:

Original 2007 movie version
Final Battle Jazz
G1 Deco Jazz
And the forthcoming "Premium" version

I love Jazz, have bought and enjoy all the above. But "Allspark Power?" The 5th version of the same character in the same toy... exactly the same as the first version only with some light blue paint slapped on...? Enough's enough, I don't need it.

Besides that, goodness gracious I am SO ready to start seein' Transformers Animated toys on the shelves...

Good thing I live very close to a Target. I'm thinking of getting a job there, since they pay $9 an hour and those employee discounts.

The sad thing is, the fact that ill probably pick these up because im a sucker for cool packaging. Even though i dislike the repaints. I mean Barricade just looks horrible. At least he looks better than "Recon Barricade" though.

Don't get me started on repaints, one is bad enough, they just got too carried away this time.

:) The only way me and my 2 bros can be "completists" is because there are 3 of us. We fight over who "gets to get" certain guys, like 1st round of movie characters and the animated toys... But we also fight over who, "has to get" guys like (as Jason him) "Snow Parade" or "Day Bright Barricade." ugh, and if that's not bad enough, that paint aps on Allspark Power Barricade look particularly bad. Ouch.

Tell you what H.E. If you do get these toys, maybe you could mail me the packaging inserts (or scan it directly would be even better) so we can add it to our package art archive... Seeing as how we'll never get it otherwise.

Does anyone out there have the FAB recolors (Ramjet, Nightwatch Megatron, Smokescreen...) that could send me scans of the card back and instructions for our package art and Instructions archives?

Anyone else notice that Barricade and Jazz are the ony ones with a choking hazard sticker?

yeah I noticed that H.E.,maybe it´s because of parts like jazz´ head, which is very small and can be popped-off easily.
as for Barricade I don´t own one, so it´s a mistery to me why.

Nobody should be a completist of the movie line even with help. Too much trouble and too expensive. And for what, just so you can have a Bumblebee identical to one you own already but with a bit of blue on him? Just not worth it. Now, Animated and Universe '08 will get back to the normality we had during previous years.
