Transformers Animated get's better and better. But how can Waspy be a repaint of Backie Jetscream? And why Swindle to become Soundwave repaint? Crazy imagination guys. The only incoming repaint is Skywarp as a repaint of Starscream.

Swindle was the name of an Armada F-1 racing car, a Universe train and a Movie car. The name is no longer closely associated to being a jeep any more.

I don't think you have to worry. I really don't think Hasbro would do a recolor of the TFA Blackarachnia and call it Waspinator. That would be quite silly. I suppose they could do a recolor of the Transmetal Waspinator toy, but I think even that is unlikely considering how different is the style of that Transmetal toy w/ all the other Animated stuff.

Please let Swindle be a yellow Jeep! Bruticus and Devastator you say? Hm, I'm not so sure about that. At the Hasbro panel at last year's Botcon, someone asked, "will there be any Combiners in Animated?" Aaron Archer answered with an all too brief but none-the-less revealing, "yes."

I don't think the addition of Swindle means there will be Bruticus. But we can hope!

TFanimated is veeeeeery G1 like, BassX0. i really dont think that swindle will become anyone else than the little Combaticon Jeep. And Perceptor, i also heard about rumors announcing Motormaster. And im pretty sure about devastator because there will be Scrapper and the other constructicons so why no devastator?

They haven't released the first two waves of toys yet, now they're talking about some new ones again. C'mon, this is getting old.

Wreck-Gar will be interesting. He's a voyager, I'm guessing he will not be a motorcycle. I hope Swindle will be a yellow jeep and be part of Bruticus. Blurr just has to be a blue fast moving, fast talking car. Waspinator, I know what he's going to be, I'm not missing out on him this time. I wish I would have bought the Beast Wars 10th anniversary reissue. Skywarp, I hope they liven up the colors to the Starscream mold, I don't like the Starscream colors on this one.

Wreck gar turns into a garbage truck. Can you conceive of a better alternate mode? Should be outstanding!

I'm w/ ya on SS colors. The pix I've seen, the toy the 'grey' plastic looks too blue to me. We'll see.

Waspinator is awesome beyond recognition, and hilarious, too, so his arrival makes me very happy. Maybe a Decepticon for another Season?

Skywarp gets me up a little, they will have to find some way to make it different from Starscream to make me want it, unless the colorscheme is good enough.
