You never know, it could be that Barricade is in the opening 5 seconds of the film, where he drives up to investigate a strange Cybertronian energy signature, only to get smashed to bits with the arrival of Jetfire, Grimlock, Slag, Swoop, Sideswipe and Sunstreaker! ;)

Yeah he'll might have an appearance like Bonecrusher had. and by the way if they want to set even bumblebee more into the background, i dont think were goin' to see much of Barry.

Or starscream is intercepted by unicron on the way back to cybertron and when unicron and starscream return to earth they gather all the old decepticon scrap + what got away and barricade is only there for 5 seconds before being formatted into scourge, megatron to galvatron, starscream to cyclonus, blackout to soundwave, and brawl(devastator) becomes unicron's minion dead end!!! Or better: OVERLORD!

Starscream sets off on a journey and revives Unicron, and brings him to Earth. Barricade brings together a bunch of decepticons who are all hiding on earth. Prime and all of the other good transformers are now integrated into our society, and everything is peaceful- until barricade and the decepticons join Starscream/Unicron and blah blah blah!


and somewhere in that a "ghost" of Megs comes in and he returns maybe in TF3 or w/e

Eeeeeeeh...say what, Tyscream? i think youve ment another TFormer. maybe you thought of megs. w.ever, i think Starscream is gonna steal the allspark splinter to bring bonecrusher back to live so he and the just arriving Constructicons can form Devastator (Brawl is and stays definitely Brawl not Devy)to crush the Au-Bots for good. meanwhile the still functioning braincore of megatron contacts his most loyal troups to free him. and when he got free he has to face a hard decision: Either kill his brother or Devastator who got dangorous for megatron self. he decides for the good of his brother and Decepties and Autobots fight together against Devastator.

Actually there's three (3) Barricades on that trailer. They're clones created by Megatron after he takes over the planet. Then he'll put Jazz in his own body so he can rebel. And finally Megs will separate himself from his aircraft mode.

Jeez, and I thought I was taking a bold step hoping for Barricade to get squashed under the foot of the newly arriving Jetfire, Grimlock, Slag, Swoop Sunstreaker and Sideswipe! You're RIGHT I wasn't thinking big enough!!! Now, I've really got my fingers crossed for the magically appearing worm hole opening with Unicron and every Maximal, Predacon, Vehicon, Mini-bot, Autobot and Decepticon to ever appear in Transformers mythos...
