RUMOR - New Toy Listings for Transformers Animated

A new page of Animated toy listings for the later waves of 2008 has been posted on pic.tf08.net. According to the listings, the figures included in future waves will be:

Activators: Optimus Prime, Ratchet, Lockdown
Deluxe: Snarl, Jazz, Swoop, Blurr, Oil Slick, Soundwave, Blitzwing**, Mixmaster*, Scavenger*
Voyager: Sentinal Prime, Wreck-Gar
Leader: Bulkhead, Ultra Magnus, Megatron
Ultimate: Optimus Prime (Roll Out Command), Omega Supreme*

NOTE:
* - RUMORED new character toy listing
**- Blitzwing was originally listed as a Voyager, not a Deluxe. This listing contradicts what we were told before.

Keep in mind, though. These are unofficial, I repeat, UNOFFICIAL listings. Do not get your hopes up, for they could be proven false at a later time.

Ahh yes, I am prepared to be a toy and get my friend Blitzwing. I just hope that my constructicon teamates will be toys(but I did see mixmaster and Scavenger). Megatron I will find you, my master. Is oilstick a constructicon? Will the constructicons be able to form Devastor? I hope so.

Look at the picture of Oil Slick, Lugnutz. He's a motorcycle and is likely to be Lockdown's partner. I doubt Mixmaster is true since they've always had problems getting the name in the recent past - but if they finally managed it then cool. And I think its been said the Constructicons can combine but probably in a similar way the deluxe Energon Autobots do.

I've heard that while Blitzwing will have three faces as seen on TV, he will only use the tank altmode. Sorry, Jumpercliff, but you'd better start that petition REAL soon.

If I get Animated Snarl, I'll just call him Slag. That's cos Hasbro did'nt have the trademark for Slag, so they called him Snarl instead. I have to say, stupid laws are just there to ruin <everyone>'s fun. If they release a Jetfire, will they have to call him Skyfire in the cartoon?

Yes, I hate some of your human laws, they do not make any sence. Hasbro is the best toy company around, I think they have enough money to use the name Slag. Either way i hate that dumb Autobot.

About the Constructicons, I know that there's only going to be two of them, but I read somewhere that one of them is named Scrapper, not Scavenger or Mixmaster. Odd.

Also, Someone, where did you hear that Blitzwing will only have the tank mode? Cuz my sources tell me he will also have the jet mode, but it will be squat and have the treads still showing.

I agree with Blasten Blaster, if they are going to do Devastator, they need at least 5, preferably 6 robots to make him. Devastator should not be a throw back to the Energon combiners. That's just wrong.

From the figures I saw above, I know where a healthy chunk of my hard earned pay is going.

I honestly doubt the C-cons will combine to Devestator. From what we've been told, they're just construction vehicles turned into Decepticons, much to Bulkhead's dismay, and will go after Sari near the series' end.

It has to six bots and not just 5 big bots or 5 big bots and one "slightly bigger than a mini-con" bot that becomes the head.

If your right Sabrblade, then that will be a wasted opportunity. Realistically it would be to scale, and really cool, if they actually produced the constructions to be Voyager sized. Devastator would be great. He'd cost an arm and a leg, but he'd be great.

I think the days when we saw teams of four - six are behind us. These days Hasbro prefers to create smaller versions of show characters (Legends and Activators) than to make them limbs for a combiner.

The Constructicons aren't gonna combine. There is no "Devastator" for Animated.

Ya I figured that unless they realease the 4 other in a later wave but i am 99% sure that wont happen unless the other 4 are non-show characters.

B/c it's just not done or at least sucesfully in energon they tried it and we got "constructicon maximus" and that was a total crap fest.
