I guess you decided making this because we were on talking about black friday on the boot camp episode.

Well, you know, I think the Dinobots' crushes are a reference to all the crushes that several Beast Wars characters had on BW Blackarachnia. First Tarantulas had a brief liking of her in her debut, but he quickly got over it and thought of her as a pawn. Then Quickstrike had a strong crush on her that lasted till his death. Silverbolt was chivalrous to her since she was female, but later liked her and then loved her (and the feeling was roughly mutual). Cheetor then had a crush that lasted for about three episodes, until she told him off, and made get over fast. Then Waspinator in BM liked the "Chick-bot" when he regained his right mind in his "Biker-bot" body.

Great episode. Bring on the Beast Wars. And you forgot Cheetor in your list there, Sabr.

No prob. I kinda wished that Cheetor's crush came back in Beast Machines and maybe because they couldn't remember Silverbolt, she could have reciprocated his feelings. It would have been really interesting for a conflict later on Silverbolt came back, but they didn't got for that. Oh well, would have been good...

I think there was enough tension between Cheetor and Silverbolt in BM that a love triangle wouldn't really be neccessary.

Besides, if she had reciprocated his feelings, she wouldn't have bothered so much to try and bring back Silverbolt. Which means a major plot point would be gone.

That was a pretty funny episode. I mean, when Grimlock got mad, fire came out of his neck! You could say he was literally hot under the collar.

That's not exactly true. The animocity between Cheetor and Silverbolt was due to Cheetor growing up while he wasn't around, so he continued to think of him as a kid. Throw in the love triangle and Silverbolt could have seen him as a real threat now being an adult. And it would have really developed Blackarachnia because then she would have been conflicted between her feelings for the two and would have made rescuing Silverbolt a heck of a lot more interesting. Not to mention, Silverbolt would have had a real reason for being so brooding the whole time, rather than just being pissed off because he couldn't control his actions.

Grate Ep! Season3 need's to have the DinoBots full time.
