Starting soon, McDonald's will begin its Transformers Animated promotion (along with "Littlest Petshop") with their very own Happy Meal toys.  Some Mickey Dees have already begun the promotion as my little nephew scored toy #2 Megatron... which I proceeded to steal from him (he's one-year-old and had three of them... he won't miss it... don't judge me!).  Anyway, there will be six figures: 1 Optimus, 2 Megatron, 3 Bumblebee, 4 Starscream, 5 Ratchet and 6 Lugnut; I hope you guys like happy meals!  And remember, here at Unicron.com, We Love to See You Smile!

McDonald's is actually where I got my first Beast Wars TF Manta Ray! Their Beast Wars promos were the best because they were exclusive characters in the first set (Panther, Manta Ray, Beetle, Rhino, and Lion Head Under-3). Then they even went so far as to give us Transmetal versions of Scorponok, Blackarachnia, and Dinobot! And thanks to Botcon, the only show character to not recieve a TM form was Inferno because he was released as Scavenger here... but he was Inferno in Japan! Then they brought us what were probably the most show accurate Beast Machines figures to date giving us the ENTIRE first season cast. The toys were good in those days... to this day, the only one I'm missing is Lion Head Under-3 from the Beast Era promos.

Ha TPR you took candy from a baby! JK its alright... wat u did is reasonable. Wat i am most impressed with is the OP and Megs McDonalds figs. Overall, id say that these releases are a lot better than the Armada MD figures. I really dont remember the Beast Wars/Machines ones, only that i used to really like them and collect them, but now i have a very small memory of them since i gave them to my little cousin quite awhile ago.

You know you've gone too far when you're stealin' Happy Meal McTransformers from a 1 year old! HA!

Yeah, my new pair of jeans was starting to feel a bit loose. Time to pack on a few pounds with a couple o big mac meals over the next few weeks. OH! I know, I could substitute the salt crusted potato(???) sticks they call "fries" for some nutritionless, peel free "apples" with extra caramel dip! What kind of chemicals must they be soaked in (and for how long?) to never brown, no matter how long they sit in those little refridgerator baggies Did anyone else read "Super Size Me!" It's a great read (much better than the film) I highly recommend.

Dang! Why do I have to be such a complete and total BUZZKILL?! Sorry everyone! (Well, not really) Go enjoy your Happy Meals everyone! I know i will! (Really!)

The ones I've got are the Rhino figure, all three Transmetal figures, all 9 Beast Machines figures, and that's it. The Beast Era ones were the best, imo. The ones from Armada onward are quite tacky, compared to the Beasts.

TPR, yes, TM Inferno was released as Scavenger here, but that's only because Inferno's toy was STILL only the shelves, he was a major shelfwarmer. I like to think that Scavenger is still Inferno, but he just changed his name when he was upgraded. (Like how in Armada when Smokescreen was rebuilt he, eventually, changed his name to Hoist. Or in Energon when Cyclonus and Tidal Wave were rebuilt, they became Snow Cat and Mirage.)

As for these Animated ones, Prime is okay, Megs is decent, BB is meh, Starscream is... "Slag! What did they do to him?!!", Ratchet reminds me of an old G1 Protectobot, and Lugnut looks like he's wearing a dress.

Whenever I see McDonalds abreviated as Mickey Dees. I think of Motorhead's drummer ( Mickey Dee).

i think all the micky dees aka mc donalds animated figures are ok they might not be as good as the beast wars and beast machines but i believe they are worth collecting

The commercials for happy meal toys are so unrealistic with their "healthy choices". Get out of here. Like I'm gonna bring my kids all the way to McDonald's to have sticky apples and bottles of water. This nonsense has gone too far. No lawyer is going to shut down a brand like that. We will have McDonald's, GM, and Coca-Cola 'til the end of time no matter how bad business is.

I'm going to start eating Happy Meals. I'm going to get some figures and lose weight.

I got two of those things. Optimus Prime, and I found a beatup Megatron in the parking lot. Sheesh! What does a bot have to do to get a figure of himself around here?!
