As of now, Luketroop, it looks like it's only gonna be fore DS, and when I tried looking for a pic online or anything, all I could find was articles with even less information than what I had, but everything says DS.

Games based on cartoons are aas bad as cartoons based on games.May this be an exception? Who knows, but the fact that its based on Transformers isn't going to help a crummy play. I hope its good and not a merchandising rush. But then again what do I know I eat ma poop + I am gay!

I tend to find that most games based on movies are pretty aweful with a few exceptions; the TF movie games fall into that catagory personally. I think if the game goes the route of the movie DS games, there won't be a problem, whether we are playing as some new annonymous Autobot or just going level to level as one of the core 5, I won't really mind. Just so long as we aren't running around as Sari, I don't really care; even if she is my favorite "human" kid character.

And, Luketroop, did you get the TF Movie game for the PSP? I've been wondering how it was and I'm looking into picking up a PSP now that there are some games I'm interested in on it.

I don't know, ???, "The Game" was in the title to the non-DS versions of the movie game and they turned out pretty well, IMO.

I'm glad they're making it for DS (despite my not having one). I hated the fact that prelude to energon and the Japanese G1 TF Battle game were both for PS2. Hasbro and Takara should consider making a DS version of the second one for all the G1 fans.

Man, the voicing on the Japanese G1 PS2 game was terrible. The guy who voiced Megs sound more Prime-like than the guy who voiced Prime in that game.

Anyway, since there's still no info about this Animated game, I still can't say for sure if I'll get this or not.

And I'm pretty sure I'm going to get this game. It's gonna have to go pretty far out of its way for me to not be interested. Using the easy comparison, the Teen Titans video games weren't too bad and kept the voice acting from the show (I'm pretty sure, anyway) So, I feel pretty confident. That's not to say that I want this game to be a side scroller like the TT games on GBA, but I'm just saying, they instilled confidence in me.

I have a feeling this TFA DS game will be a half fast make if it comes out this late past the cartoon and toys' premier/release. Just look at the Armada game (which was named Transformers the game).

Actually, it was just called "Transformers" but "Prelude to Energon" was it's working title and is the easiest way to officially recognize it without confusing it with the movie game or the Armada anime series. And I don't know if I completely agree, Ty. I'm not expecting this game to be a work of art, but I everything about this series has been released so long after the series, that I expect it to be late. My worst fear is that the third season doesn't get approved, so they end up concluding all of the remaining storylines through the games and the comics. Not that that's a bad thing really, I'd just rather have a third season and a lot of games and comics, too.

The reason anyone can edit Said's comments is because he's not giving himself a real author name and is just tying comments without a name.

Those comments that have no Author names can be edited by anybody BECAUSE they have no Author name.

I have a DS, it's a must buy for me. I wish they'd make a game for Wii. It'll give me an excuse to buy a one. Just wait until I'm finished going through my Zelda games.
