Transformers: Animated; the Arrival

We've been in the lull for a while now without anything new from Transformers: Animated as the two completed seasons have fully airred.  Well, with nearly a year until new episodes hit US screens and about two months until the game clicks into Nintedo DSes everywhere, there's still one more piece of media to tie us over: Comics!  New to the shelves is Transformers: Animated; The Arrival the first of the in-continuity comic series published by IDW.  According to the description, the issues will be telling the story of the TFA Movie "Transform and Roll Out!" from the points of view of multiple characters.  Sounds like an interesting read to me!

Like the idea, don't like that cover. Sari looks very ugly in that image. I'll take her cartoony appearance over this look anyday.

Appearances aside, this looks pretty cool. I just might have to stop by a local bookstore and read it (if I buy, I may only read it once).

LOVE the idea. The fact that it's written by Isenberg has me giddy. Can't wait to see what he has/had up his sleeves and how Oil Slick will play into the whole mix. Let the fiction continue! Thanks for the heads up TPR.

Nice! Reminds me a bit of the Batman: The Animated Series episode, "P.O.V." (if anyone has heard of or seen it).

I have. It's an interesting episode.

Does Oil Slick show up in the second or third issue?

This should be interesting. I like it when we see stories from the viewpoint of other characters. Gives us a moment to see how they feel about the world around them. I'm thrilled!

I like this Sari more than the cartoony one, if only her character were older, like 11 or 12 at least. I don't like the balloons, but the story looks good.
