Transformers Revenge of the Fallen news comes our way from a variety of sources!

The Live Action Blog has posted pictures of an exploded gas tanker prop used in one of many explosion sequences for the film. Chinese lettering on the truck indicates the scene is set in Shanghi.

TFW2005 has posted a link to a photobucket account with higer rez pictures, including the ice cream truck with faction insignia! Is it (are they) an Autobot(s) or Decepticon(s)??? Let the debate begin! We also see a close up of the decked out Hummer H3.

Check out this very high rez video posted on tfw2005 showing the beautiful silver concept camero, Bumblebee, the Chevrolet Trax and Beat, Optimus Prime AND the previously (mostly) unseen Chevrolet Volt in a stylin' purple color scheme.

The Live Action Blog has also come through again scoring a video of an explosion scene being filmed on a highway. (Caution: the person taking the video has a potty mouth, so not suitable for kids...) But wow that's cool! The explosion and pyrotechnics people working for Bay must really love their jobs! :)

Here's what I'm dyin' to know: Who is that freakin' awesome looking concept Corvette??? Could Revenge of the "Fallen" be referring to *Jazz* getting a little payback? Could that be Jazz? Would you want it to be???

Oh, and from the moment I heard there will be an ice cream truck in the film, I was thinking Decepticon. I mean, Barricade, a police car/symbol of peace and order = Decepticon. Ice cream truck? I"m thinking the same. It's not conclusive, but that symbol looks like a Decepticon symbol to me! What do you think???

How about that Chevy Volt in PURPLE. Who do you want that to be??? Could it be Shockwave??? One can hope!

CRAP, why can't it be the summer of 2009 right NOW!

Sure seems like it to me. It also makes sense to be a Decepticon too, doesn't it? I really want that Corvette to be Jazz, but that doesn't make nearly as much sense to me. >>More wishful thinking on my part...

Lol i can tell you, as a licensed Pyro-Tech YES! We do indeed love blowing s&!t up. and getting on a film like Bays is like the Holy grail of gigs!

Ya know, I just had a thought. If the ice cream truck is indeed a 'Con (and not the Autobot Twins, like we've been told), what if turns out to be a female 'Con?

And I think it would be cool if the Volt turned out to be a 'Bot named "Crosswise", cuz it would be like a nod to TF:Cybertron Crosswise whose japanese name was "Autovolt" (emphasis on AutoVOLT).

My guess would be that the silver Vett will be Tracks but, it would be cool to bring Jazz back. As far as the purple Volt My guess is Soundwave. Isn't he supposed to be in this one? I couldn't notice any symbol on the ice cream truck but I'm thinking Bot because that's Ironhide just infront of it.
