Boy, I just wish they made him purple! Other than that, cool figure! Does this make him a Quadchanger?

I wondered about making Shockwave purple too, but then imagine him standing next to Lugnut! You can't have two purple bots each with 1 eye standing side by side! I just think of the grey aesthetic as part of his Autobot disguise.

What I don't like is that their is no gun arm on his right hand. Sure you could put the tank gun in his hand, but it's not attached still. It's just ruining the toy for me!

This does look like a cool figure. He would look good in purple.

What I don't understand is why they didn't make Lugnut into Shockwave in the first place.

It looks though if the creators for this Shockwave found inspiration in the Megatron Armada cartoon/toy with the horns he has on his head, also his vehicle mode reminds of Armada Megatron with the treads and all.

I just found out my remark about him can also be found on wikipedia ;-) so nothing new here!

He looks so awesome, I can't wait for his UK release, I might be tempted by ebay though...

Good looking toy and a must have for me. Its NOT G1 Shockwave nor is he supposed to be a close homage other than his face and voice so the color scheme and two hands are forgiveable. I would like to see a recolor in future where he is purple.

And Lugnut is his own character. The Animated show wouldn't be the same without Lugnut being there exactly as he is. Calling Lugnut Shockwave but keeping the same personality as Lugnut would do the name Shockwave a disservice.

Oh and can any character with a brain in the TV show really think that Shockwave and Longarm are different people if they saw both of them clearly? Its like if Superman just put on glasses to become Clark Kent and still kept his trademark clothes on.
