Animated Lugnut

Generation 1 had Soundwave. Beast Wars had Inferno. Transformers newest era, Animated has introduced fans to Lugnut. Although not the sharpest knife in the drawer, Lugnut serves a great purpose as Megatron's ever loyal Leiutenant. You'll find this and other Animated character pages now permanently linked in the 2008 Transformers Section.

First of all, let me say that this new system you have is brilliant.
I like the way Lugnut looks, very bulky and armed to the teeth.

When I first saw him I thought that he was going to be Shockwave, purple and one-eyed that he is, but now we know of course that's not the case ;-)

Really LM? I assume only because you know it's Kaye. Because I don't think it sounds anything like any of the other characters Kaye has ever done in TFs before. It's amazing to me that the same guy did BW Megatron, Animated Optimus AND this guy. Totally crazy to me...

Glad you like the new character page system Inferno. Pages are a lot easier (less time consuming to produce!) So I'm very much liking it also! Thanks.

Yeah that's the main reason. The other reason that I could tell was one time on "A Bridge Too Close" Part 2 when the Decepticons were blitzing Omega Supreme, Lugnut said something about, "Praise the great and glorious Megatron, HAH!!!" I could tell at that point that it was David. He has such a great voice and I finally got to see him in person at Botcon this year.

I had a WHOLE list of transformer names i wanted in a show.This name was on it.The character page looks wicked.nice job.

The 'Primary Function' on the packages are a little boring. In G1, all the robots had a primary function, as did G2, Beast Wars, and Beast Machines. How come after that, the Primary function of the character disappeared altogether?

Perhaps, Jumpercliff, it was because those seies were American-made, and the creators had more control over who the characters were and stuff.

Whereas, RiD, Armada, Energon, and Cybertron were all animes - Japanese made. In those series, the character bios were made by both countries, and somethings probably had to go, like the functions.

But that's just my theory.

I like Lugnut, he reminds me of Tidal Wave. I have to buy another figure, the right arm has a defect in it and comes off.
