Check out the updated 1998 Transformers Section which now includes Beast Wars (II) Second from Japan as well as two European exclusive Transmetals.

OH YEAH, let us not forget! CONGRATULATIONS are in order for Mr. Byrer(prime) who became a new father recently. Isaac Byrer was born 7 lbs 14 oz and 19 inches, and from what he told me, sounds healthy and happy. Big time congrats m'man!

Perceptor - 6am is not early. At least not for me. I get out of bed at 4:30 M-F even earlier on sat. But, my kids sleep though the night so it's not really the same.

Wait a sec. Why are Apache, Scuba, Tasmania Kid, and Scissorboy listed?

They're the same as the the B'Boom, Claw Jaw, Snarl, and Powerpinch toys (well, the rubsigns are different on Scissorboy, but the toy itself is the same).

I thought we only listed those that were exclusive to Japan, and not those that are the same as the U.S. toy but in different packaging.

Thanks guys, now I have 2 boys (and a girl). My six yr. old son already loves TF's.

On the subject of same toys, Optimus Prime is the same as Convoy in toy and character. However, toys that are identical with completely different personalities will be listed separately. In the case of B'Boom and Apache they even showed up in the recent BW comic together.

Oh, and that's 7 o'clock here in the east. Got the chance to go to work an hour late, so I made productive use of it.

But in the other sections, those whose toys were the same, but had different personalities were still left out.

They may have been different characters, but they were still not listed in the sections due to the toys being the same. The 1987 section is a good example of this.
