Have we mentioned we love Transformers Animated?  Have we mentioned you can (and should) buy the first season on DVD, just about anywhere DVD's are sold?  Well, if you need a reminder of its complete awesomeness, check out new "character pages" for episodes 8 Lost and Found, 9 Survival of the Fittest and 10 Headmaster.

Plus, tvshowsondvd is reporting that
Transformers Energon: The Ultimate Collection is due in stores Dec 16th
Transformers Animated Season 2 is coming January 6th.
Thanks to the allspark.com for the heads up!

THANK YOU!! I am so glad to see that Energon is coming to DVD soon. I personally really enjoyed it and it's definitely the American series that I saw the least of.

What? Energon? Why was it swtched around?

Who'da thunk it? The TF series that did the worst is actually getting released on DVD.

I woudln't go that far. Yes it was the worst series, but it was mainly its dub that suffered. Superlink, on the other hand, was a little more understandable, had a LOT less errors, and wasn't as bad.

Energon the worst TF series??? No way dudes. RID was FAR less watchable. Actually, so was Armada.

I actually enjoyed most of Energon. Here's what you do:
1.) Put in the DVD
2.) then put some fresh batteries in your remote control.
3.) Then start watching.
4.) Anytime there's a scene with Kicker, just fast forward; slowly so you can hear his words, but just get through them 2X faster.
5.) THEN you'll enjoy 99.9% of the rest of it.

Actually, HERE is what you do! (Assuming that you are OVER 21) Grab yourself a case of beer OR a very large bottle of wine. Start watching *any* episode. Then you take a drink every time any character says the word "Energon."

Try that, and I guarantee, this will soon become your FAVORITE Transformers series of all time, in less than 15 minutes!

Just one question, and this one goes out to the fan-base, why all the hate for kicker? I mean, I haven't seen all of the episodes but from what I have seen he has proven to be one of the more....."useful" humans. Other than the fact that every line of dialog by the guy is of him screaming something ridiculously outlandish, everything seems to be in proper working order. I don't know, correct me! lol!

The thing about Kicker is that he was so negative most of the time. Always yelling at people, saying that he hated so many characters. Always kicking Ironhide (though that was probably for comedy). Some people even think he was emo.

And as for RiD. That series was very good. It had some pretty awesome characters: Scourge, Ultra Magnus, Rapid Run, etc. And ya gotta admit, the Fortress Maximus story arc was pretty intense. And the final episodes were just epic! And let's forget Sky-byte, who is one of the funniest TF characters out of any series, especially during that one episode where they were trying to keep a tower from falling over. I was crackng up at that one, and the one where Movor kept giving the wrong locations of the Autobots' base from space. Pure golden humor! And yes, Megatron in that series was kinda lazy, but when he did fight, aespecailly as Galvatron, he was full of total ownage! And let's not forget his six mode/ten mode capability. That was slaggin' awesome! And its Japanese opening theme song is one of the best ever!

The only reason it suffered so much was due to the 9/11 attacks, and the clip episodes weren't anything like the Car Robots versions.

Energon...the complete series......FINALLY! Took them long enough. Then all we need is a complete series RID set and the entire Transformers animated universe up to 2007 is at last complete (thanks a bunch for nothing, Disney).

On a lighter note, I saw the third and fourth episodes of 'Spaceballs: The Animated Series'. SO FUNNY!

I agree, Fortress Maximus' comeback was epic! Never did see the ending of car robots though, how was the ending fight?

Lord Megs, the ending was Galvy all super powered up after steal Fort Max's power, then kicking every Autobot's butts, and then almost killing the Decepticons and Sky-byte.

Then, he and Omega Prime (who has been weakened) enter the Global Spacebridge to fight one-on-one near the Earth's core. Durong the fight, Omega Prime is losing badly. Then Galvy reveals his true plan: since the belief that good will always triumph over evil is the most powerful force in exsitence, Galvy would take that belief and reverse, making evil the supreme force of the universe. But Koji contacts many children around the world and has them send there energy to reactivate Fort Max, who reroutes his new power to Omega, which forms the Matrix Blade, a gigantic sword that Omega Prime immediately took hold of and used it to stop Galvatron in one strike (it didn't kill him, but it did defeat him for good).

Fast forward to some time later, Fort mMax has taken Galvy, the Preds (sans Sky-Byte) and the D-cons to some asteroid prison. All the Autobots will be leaving Earth soon, but they all have one last run around different places on Earth before they leave. Side Burn chases after a little red sportscar one last time. Optimus and Koji have a final moment together, and the Preds wonder where Sk-Byte is. He's off in the ocean , still on Earth singing, "Who's the smartest shark around? Who's the coolest shark in town? Sky-Byte, that's me! Ha!"

It's about time Hasbro put out TF Energon. The show was grate the thing that made it bad was Kicker. Other than that the show was grate.
And it's grate that TFA season2 is coming.
