Black Optimal Optimus prototype on Ebay

TFW2005 SashaShame has listed an Ebay auction for a Black Optimal Optimus unpainted prototype from Beast Wars. This item is one of only two that known to exist, and is an "unpainted injection-molded hardcopy test shot prototype". The first thing I thought about when I first saw this thing was that mech suit that Quikestrike used to control Optimus's body widy in the episode "Master Blaster".

I made a custom of the Quickstrike Mech a while ago out of a few spare Optimal Optimus parts and some Krylon Fusion Spray paint.

I'm entirely willing to belive this is one of only two known to exist. I completly accept this is an offical Hasbro un-painted prototype. You might even be able to convince me that it is worth in excess of $950. But, I don't know if he's being realistic with an asking price of $2K. I hope he's not as disapionted as the lady who wanted $1,000,000 for her nearly complete G1 collection a while back. She ultimatly settled for $50K.

And he's the only black Prime/Convoy redeco that is NOT evil. All the others are evil: Black Lio Convoy, RiD Scourge, every Nemesis Prime.

I already have the regular one and i dont like repaints that much. I think that repaints should have a little change in them of the body and legs!

Actually, wasn't there a black repaint of Powermaster Optimus Prime that was Nucleon Quest Convoy, or something, that was a non-evil black repaint? That might not be what it's called. I have to admit, I'm not very knowlegeable about the G1 black repaints. For one thing, I know there are black repaints of Starscream and Megatron, but that's kinda redundant, because they're evil anyway...

I meant clone-wise/lookalike-wise. Those who are black redecoes and are also separate characters. The rest are just the same guys in a different color schemes.

Black Big Convoy is the only black Prime/Convoy double who is not evil.
