How to fix Universe Ironhide's head.

If you've been able to get the new Universe Deluxe Ironhide figure, you've probably noticed something awkward about his head: it's tilted forward a bit so that he's always looking down. Fear not, there is a way to fix this problem. Seibertron.com member Geekee1 has provided instructions on how to make it so his head isn't "hanging down" all the time anymore. It's quite an extensive process that requires a good amoutn of time, effort, and carefulness. but it looks very worth it in the end.

Also, you may have noticed that Ironhide's face is strangely painted blue. This will not last for long. According to Hasbro's responses at the IDW forums, there will be a "running change" made to Ironhide so that later releases will have Ironhide's face correctly colored in silver.

This is similar to how, back in 1999, TM2 Dinobot was changed from cream to white, and TM2 Prowl was changed from white to black.

Hmm i dont have one yet so i might hold off for awhile so i could get the silver face release. Hopefully while theyre at it theyll fix the heard problem

theres no review section for 25th prime so ill just do it here ,sorry!
anyway i didnt open it because i noticed the dvd is sitting upside down obviously a mistake for hasbro
i dont know why ,so this means i have to buy another one :) paint job is a very bright orangy red color. trailer a whitish gray color comes with roller ,and all his g1 stuff from what i can see through the box. must have if your a hard core collector other than that i will give a over all total of 9 for packaging and figure ,im gonna give prime him self 6 1/2 .resons are the short smoke stacks and the way off color on the trailer. the only cool thing is the voice box of peter cullen i will give that a 10 by its self.

if you want to help ironhide do the stuff or just forget it and get the henkei version.

Will Takara/Tomy really remold a figure to that extent for such a small issue? These may be trivial mold changes to do by hand, but for a company it's re-making a mold.

oskar, who said that Takara would fix this issue? All that's been said is that they'd color Ironhide's face gray and give him a more G1-accurate deco like all the other Henkei figures have.
