War Within Prowl

Before the Ark made its infamous journey w/ Cybertron's greatest heroes and crashed on Earth 4 million years ago, many of the same individuals were involved in the onset of civil war on Cybertron. Let's take quick break from Animated and open up conversation about a series set generations before Generation 1: The War Within! With toys made of die-cast metal parts and an old fashioned transformation aesthetic, the "Titanium" series of toys are a perfect fit for these characters.

War Within Prowl is a Toys R Us exclusive (in stores now) and sadly, is among the final pieces of the Titanium line to be released before it's discontinued. This rare piece is a great addition to the set and I'm very glad it was produced. Enjoy his all new character page, available for viewing in the 2008 Transformers Section.

Pretty cool look for Prowls Pre-Earth form in the G1 Dreamwave comics universe.

I almost kinda wish the Autobot and Decepticon pre-Earth designs were like this for the G1 cartoon universe, but they're not. Oh well.

The War Within is a story just itching to be animated. I wish one day it gets done. Then we can get proper War Within figures.

I say the War Within should be a DTV or DTDVD release, with an all-star voice cast.

Somebody started some work of animation on youtube but it was never completed. It had some promise though and was kinda cool.

Actually the first episode was completed. In my opinion, it wasn't that good. Voice acting wasn't too great and the animation was shotty, but that is to be expected when you animate comic pictures. A lot of people on their message boards and stuff liked it though, so it really all comes down to opinion.

Mabey they can re-colour Prowl as war within Jazz and Blue-streak? Please tell me what you think of this

That'd totally work for Bluestreak.

It could get by w/ a Jazz color scheme, but not as well. Jazz' car mode was quite different. His War Within alt mode looked just like he did in the original G1 cartoon series (the first ever episode of Transformers...)

This wouldn't work for a Smokescreen. I can't explain it, but it just wouldn't.
