1988 Submarauder

Moving right along with the 1988 section, you will find an all new character page for the final, "first series" Decepticon Pretender: Submarauder, or "Gilmer" as our friends on that big island across the Pacific like to call him!

So lets see a show of hands (through comments). Do we like that we're spending our Energon on these oldies but goodies, or would you prefer our time be put into the development of character pages for newer toys?

you guys have a great site, do what makes you happy. I have enjoyed reading up on the Pretenders. They came around during full-on puberty I guess for me so I completely missed them.

ok when hell is michael bay gonna give us a teaser trailer because im starting think that there no sequel to our movie .come on mikey we need some feedback and up dates ,i know we get a glimps of some so called movie figures and thats not enough .
call someone and get some info or pics to keep us on edge the last movie we had up dates like there no tommorow, does anyone else feel the same way?

You guys keep on doing what your doing and i will support you all the way. But seriously I like these oldies. Yes it's nice to have new things but we also need the old stuff to remind us of where the newbies came from.

I like the Pretenders. The chance that they might be in ROTF only enhances the necessity of these pages. now, how about Masterforce screens?

I think this'll be the first Decepticon Pretender I'll get on the secondary market. I always did like spoofs of Creature From the Black Lagoon.

Oh yes, the Powermasters (Godmasters) definitely!

Let's see some PM Optimus Prime, Getaway, Joyride, Slapdash, Dreadwind, Darkwing, and Doubledeader.

Otherwise known as (Super) Ginrai/Jinrai, Lightfoot, Ranger, Road King, Buster, Hydra, and (Double)clouder.

i beleave it would be absolutely
awsome if hasbro made some pretenders
for the animated toy line and unicron for the animated toy line would be a great idea.

Personally, I'm thrilled to see you guys making character pages for the older toys, as I've been looking forward to learning more about these out-of-print toys and their character counterparts from cartoon and comic, particularly those from (ta-daa!) 1988.

Love the page. The only thing that would make it better are some Gilmer screen shots from masterforce :D. (+ you put that he never had a cartoon appearance till animated)
And yay! I was right on that beast thing in animated being Gilmer!
