Revenge Is Coming... quite soon

Variety reports some very awesome news. According to their article, it has finally been revelaed what day the release date of the first teaser trailer for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen will be. After so much waiting for this day to come, we shall no longer wait unaware of when it is coming. At long last, our first glimpse of this highly anticipated feature film that is the sequel to 2007's blockbuster film will be given to us on the day of this year's Superbowl. Yes, February 1st, 2009 is the release date. But do not fret thinking that you have to miss the big game by going to the movies to catch the trailer. you will be albe to view the teaser right in the comfort of your own home, for it will be shown on TV during the game itself. This just makes the game even more 'super'.

In addition, several other film trailers will be shown as well, including (but may not limited to) "G.I. Joe: the Rise of Cobra", "Star Trek", "Angels and Demons", "Monsters vs. Aliens", "Land of the Lost", "Fast & Furious", and "Up".

I've seen the trailer for Monsters vs Aliens. It's a Dreamworks animated movie that looks hilarious. It looks like the aliens drive a huge robot through the city. The trailer is at the beginning of on eof the DVDs my kids got for Christmas. Kung Fu Panda maybe?

The playing teams have not been decided yet, as the playoff games are still going on. (I don't really like football, I just know this because my father is a sports buff and copy-editor for the sports section of a newspaper).
