Thanks Prime13 and Sabr! Have to admit, we're pretty fired up! Getting to this point has taken a huge collaboration between us bros. and easily (literally) several hundred hours work. That we *finally* get to show off what we've been up to 'behind the scenes' is a total thrill!

Seriously, what kind of plastics and/or metals go into these products?

Will that AllSpark sphere be a real faceted ball or a smooth little ball?

$29.99 at BBTS here:

>>what kind of plastics and/or metals go into these products?

Injection molded ABS (plastic) the exact same material and manufacturing process used in Transformers toys.

>>Will that AllSpark sphere be a real faceted ball or a smooth little ball?

Good question. We considered (very seriously) a faceted glass sphere. Unfortunately, there was no way to get it manufactured with facets and without having a hole all the way through it. It was also more difficult to find the "just right" color we were hoping for. In the end, we decided upon a smooth sphere, made of glass, with no hole, and the exactly-what-we-wanted color... You'll see for yourself very soon indeed.

Glass, huh. Would a faceted sphere have been easier to make if it were plastic?

Sweet! Thanks! I worked my tail off for months on tweaking those designs, I'm really glad you like them.
