Five Servos of Doom Discussion

Following a manner similar to "Where is Thy Sting", another brand new episode of Transformers Animated season three has made its way onto YouTube prior to its U.S. airdate.

This time, the episode is "Five Servos of Doom" and can be viewed in four parts: one, two, three, and four.

This episode is both the first flashback episode for Prowl, and the first official Prowl/Jazz team-up episode. It also includes several characters not seen since season two, and several new ones in the flashbacks; including Warpath (who is nothing like G1 Warpath in personality), and Prowl's old sensei Yoketron (pronounced "Yoh-kee-tron", and spelled just as it is).

.In my opinion, this was the BEST episode in Season 3 so far. and it made a cameo of WARPATH!!! i noticed that the stadium was called tigratron stadium and didnt prowl use the last protoform on the dying sensei? what a waste.

Wow. They managed to put in a nod to Tigatron, feature Warpath (who could have used a new voice actor), and get George Takei to play a transformer! This makes Takei, Judd Nelson, "Weird Al" Yankovic, and John Moschitta, Jr. the only major celebs to guest star in Animated.

Another great episode!!! the animation was better than the last one. Great to see Jazz getting some more air time. (He's my all time favorite transformer from G1 to present.) Good to see Cliffjumper and Warpath was cool!!! I like the twins a little better this episode and it was cool to see the nod to Tigatron too. it was weird to have an episode without bumblebee. He's usually in every show. and i wonder what's going on with Sari?

My favorite Sentinel Prime moment, explaining how he captured Swindle "Actually he was easy...I just had to pay a fee and tow him away." Optimus may not have outed Sentinel to the Elite Guard, but I doubt the twins and Jazz are going to take him seriously ever again. Should be interesting when "the smoke clears" as Optimus put it.

I LovedIt!!!!!! As soon as I heard Yoketron's voice I knew who he was. I used to have Star Trek audio book that were read by George Takei and this was a version of his voice he's used in the past. I love that Prowl has the Samuri armor agin and this time it looks like he's keeping it. I ca't wait to see when Optimus and Sentinel finally have it out.

amazing episode! sentinel is STILL an ass! the twins voices kinda grew on me now. I wonder why shockwave took Ultra magus's Magnus Hammer (nice name) and yay clifjumper lol

Warpath doesn't need to sound like his G1 self. His "Wam! Bang! Bam! Boom! Zim! Zang! Kazowy!" wouldn't work so well for his character.

Here is something I don't understand, perhaps one of you do. In the earlier episode when Prowl leads up with the bounty hunter (lockdown is it?) you can tell that Prowl has that same helmet. I think that's a writing problem, wouldn't he have noticed his masters helmet in the earlier episode?

For the hundredth time, it's not the same helmet! They do look similar, but they are different enough to be separate helmets.

Wow...Five Servos of Doom was great! I kept thinking about Star Wars...Yoketron as Yoda and Prowl as Luke Skywalker...Lockdown as Anakin (Darth Vader) going rogue with the stealing of the protoforms and Anakin the defenseless Jedi younglings. Great stuff! Plus it was great to see the Starscream clones...but where's the female Starscream? I'll bet she'll be busting her Decepticon brothers out in no time. And it sounds like the Jet twins have German accents or Dutch.
