Slipstream, huh? Looks like GI Joe is going to be very confused on this one.

That's quite the original name. Its unique even among seekers. Some of those predicted names may have worked well like Razormoon Dirge, Megajet, or Lasorwave (which is truly peculiar), some not so much such as Femscream. Overlord would be really peculiar because that would be like naming the next constructicon Deszaras. I think Moonrazor would have fit too, but Slipstream is is quite an interesting choice.

Razormoon wouldn't work due to it being a fan name. Dirge is already the name of the Greedy Starscream clone. Megajet is too uncreative. Laserwave is the Japanese name of both G1 Shockwave and Energon Shockblast.

I'm not going to say that this was a bad choice but why Slipstream? I think the name Dreadwind would have suited her a lot more appropriately. Nevertheless, it is nice to see that a character from the Armada video game was payed attention to or at least I believe that was the origin of that name, correct me if I'm wrong. Though Laserwave did have a certain ring to it, the origin of the name didn't justify the character in any manner. Also: SUSAN?!?!? Where did that name come from?

She's got no feelings for Megs. Her personality is snarkiness towards the real Starscream, as everything she says to him is an insult.

Someone here back when she first appeared suggested Slipstream was the side of Starscream that is actually a good tactician and warrior. I dunno how accurately that goes but it is plausible.

I think that might've been me. I remember thinking of something like that, with her being his tactical side.

But now I'm more convinced that she's the clone that hates her creator.

Then effectively Slipstream would thus be his treacherous side right? The one who betters anyone at anytime and acts independantly to further any and every goal.

Well, she only acts this way towards him. It's like she has some personal vendetta towards the real Starscream. As seen how she would constantly insult and bash him in "A Bridge Too Close", and how she saw Prime flying and tried to shoot him down because she thought he was Starscream (notice that, once she realized he wasn't Starscream, she didn't shoot as aggressively as before when she thought he was him).

With anyone else, she doesn't really have a problem with. She had no objection to following Megatron, and when Omega Supreme, she acted more like a capable leader.

So it would seem that, when around Starscream, she's out to get him. But when not around Starscream, she's a tactical warrior.

Why is she a girl Starsream? What is she to him?
