This raises an interesting question. Our middle brother currently lives in Japan, and will continue to be there through the debut of TF:ROTF. He keeps insisting that when he goes to see the film there, it will be in English with Japanese subtitles. I'm thinkin' no way dude. I think it's going to be like these German clips, where they dubb the characters speaking in Japanese.

I believe he is correct, as I've seen a few movies in Japan that were filmed in english(PoTC Trilogy). The majority of Japan is familiar with the English language so dubbing was not required.

Well, when the first Transformers film was released in Japan, it was in English with Japanese subtitles.

But later on, it was dubbed in Japanese (with Tessho Genda as Optimus Prime and Kotaro Nakamura as Megatron!).

So, it may be the same case with this movie.

As for the clips, the first one got the Masterforce insert song "Miracle Transformer" stuck playing in my head (as I thought that it fit the scene perfectly). And as for the second one, poor poor Wheelie. I feel sorry for him. I hope he doesn't switch to the Autobot's side too late into the movie. I hope he switches about halfway through.

Yeah, when I spoke with a man who supposedly saw the movie, he described Wheelie's personality with much less Wheelie and much more Rattrap. I cannot wait for this movie! The anticipation is killing me!
