TakaraTomy has launched a new website called the Transformers Channel. This webiste is divided into four individual sections each called "Top", "Profile", "Information", and "Video".
The "Top" section is the main homepage of the site and serves a a hub to the other three sections. It is decorated with a large image of the four Autobots who survived the first movie, and the logo for their version of the ROTF film, which is called "Transformers: Revenge".
The Profile section contains a history and some background information regarding the Transformers as a franchise, its Diaclone and Microman origins, and the two movies themselves, among other info.
The Information section contains the updates and events of the site. Currently, the only event documented on this page is the site's creation, as it is still a fairly new site.
The Video section is the main reason for visiting this site. It contains various videos related to the Transformers, namely the ROTF movie. From bottom to top:
* The first video is the second theatrical trailer, but with Japanese text translating the dialogue, as well as using the Japanese logo.
* The second video is a big one that first plays the Superbowl TV Spot, then an ad for a LOT of the toys (mostly the Leaders, Voyagers, the Deluxes, and the Scouts), then another ad for the Gravity Bots, then another ad for the EZ Collection figures (Japanese Legends class figures), and then the first theatrical trailer.
* The third video is another commercial for the toys, but is a quick one that shows them in a combat scene in a model city.
* The fourth video is a real treat. It's the very first episode of Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers, called "The Road to Earth". this is the same episode as the G1 cartoon's first episode "More than Meets the Eye, Part 1", execpt it's just the Japanese version.
* The fitth video is a word from Shigeru Hazime, the Japanese voice actor of G1 Soundwave (and Soundblaster) and the narrator from FSRLTF, 2010, and The Headmasters cartoons. Unfortunately, it's all in Japanese. So, unless someone here is fluent enough in Japanese, we can't know exactly what he's saying.
