A few questions and comments about this set.

* What's this story about and when is it set? It doesn't seem possible to exist with all these characters from different points of time in the G1 cartoon timeline.

* Razorclaw's bio sounds cool, but confusing. He doesn't sound like the G1 cartoon Razorclaw (who was animal-like and not the most intelligent bot), but could he be one of the G1 comic Razorclaws? And if so, which one? Marvel Razorclaw, Dreamwave Razorclaw, or IDW Razorclaw?

* Who's the yellow Energon Starscream redeco in the pics with Skyquake and Leozack?

* WHY are the Sweeps colored like that? I know it was to differentiate them from Scourge, but why TEAL?

Wings of honor is sort of set in mainline continuity with classics Cyclonus alongside the Botcon Scourge/Sweeps. Kup launches into story mode, "Did I ever tell you about the time I was trust into battle on Beta-9..." Then the majority of comic is set way back in time, early in the Autobot/Decepticon war.

Oh, lets just use a little imagination, shall we? Razorclaw greatest of the G1 predacons goes on to create a Predacon army after the fall of the Decepticons, well after the "Third Great War..." He's assinated by the Tripredacus council... GREAT story!

* White jet is Hellbat. Yellow? Hm, not sure, his color scheme reminds me of a G2 Hooligan, but as he was unnamed in the comic, is subject to interpretation.

* As for teal... What better color to strike terror into the fluid-pumps of your enemies than TEAL!? :)

Okay, but is this part of the Classics comics that were started a few years back, or is this some new story? Cuz with the inclusion of such characters as Leozack, Skyquake, Thuderclash, a young Kup, etc., it doesn't seem to make sense in any of the cartoon timelines. According to the TFWiki(.net, the good one), it seems to be in another one of those alternate versions of the G1 cartoon.

Yes, I got that. But which of the G1 Razorclaws is he? Cartoon? Marvel? Dreamwave? IDW? Who?

>>"White jet is Hellbat. Yellow? Hm, not sure, his color scheme reminds me of a G2 Hooligan, but as he was unnamed in the comic, is subject to interpretation."

Ah yes, Hooligan. I just checked the TFWiki and they confirmed it so. Also, there's another jet who's supposed to be Gaihawk. I guess he's the reddish-looking one.

Also, notice that this toy of Thundeclash bears the Pepsi logo. Hah!

Oh, I SO wanted these. But I couldn't muster up the dough for them. I hope that they'll still have a few of the Razorclaw/Elita-1 and Banzai-Tron/Skyquake packs left in August. I want to order them for my birthday!

Unfortunately, I couldn't go to BotCon because of financial reasons and it was waaaay too far away. As for the exclusives, they're interesting, though I'm not really fond of some of the choices of molds used. I certainly wouldn't have chosen the Cybertron Red Alert mold for Kup. The Breakdown mold was more appropriate IMO. I also don't like the use of the Thunderblast mold for Elita-1. While it may be the most feminine mold, the vehicle mode and transformation are completely wrong for the character. Cybeertron Override would have been a much better choice for Elita-1. The vehicle mode and transformation are much closer to what we see of her in the cartoon, even though the bot mode is a little more "butch". I've seen a few repaints of Override as Elita and it works great. Give Override a new head, paint her two-tone pink, and you have a very convincing (albeit not as "shapely") Elita-1 who is also of a comparable size to Optimus.

I don't think Cyb. Override would work that well for Elita-1. Mainly because it was originally meant for a male character. The only reason Override was female in the dub was because Cartoon Network wanted a female lead role, and Nitro Convoy was thus given a gender change.

Wow, those are some cool figures.
Newest one I got was ROTF Starscream. It's an awesome toy (Though the arms are kinda stiff)

The newest I got was ROTF Soundwave.

Sabrblade, I've seen customs of Elita-1 using the Cybertron Override mold, and yes, it does work. It works very well. Wayward Martian of Insecticomics used to have one of them that she had made on her web site. It looked very nice, and it was a straight repaint with no actual modifications. Give that mold a head that even more closely matches Elita, and it would make an even better version. Yes, Thunderblast mya look more "feminine" in robot mode, but it really looks nothing like Elita in either mode. Override does look closer to Elita, especially in vehicle mode.
