Ok so if i'm reading the release right the Power Core line is Scout and Legends Classes!? Why would Hasbro do this? Wouldn't Voyager and Deluxe classes be a better fit? Or even all Deluxe class, shades of Predaking. I'm sorry but if they are supposed to merge into a "GAINT" robot then the "GAINT" robot should stand at least as tall as Leader Class!!!

@Deceptitron: So, you WANT all the good stuff to be in the $50-$100 price ranges instead of more affordable ones? We're not all made of money here.

Have you bought any Legends recently? They're getting better. Besides, the interchangeability of the line suggests that Hasbro is approaching it with a "collect them all" mentality, which means affordability must be a consideration. They might do a large combiner later on but considering sales of Supreme Devastator I doubt it.

I'd say yeah to paying $40 or $50 for a complete gift set of all 5 combiners, but not for each piece. Plus who among us hasn't had to buy a combiner set one figure at a time? I agree Hasbro went nuts asking $100 for ROTF Devastator and I agree that on many levels it's wrong. Maybe I jumped the gun hoping for Voyager and Deluxe classes but I think most can agree that even Deluxe and Scout sizes would be better then Scout and Legends.

I agree that a $40 or $50 combiner is nice on occasion. But if Hasbro wants to do an entire line of combiners then they have to keep it cheap. I'm glad they're taking this approach, as Power Core Combiners looks to be the most collectible line yet on Hasbro's side.
