And while we're at it, let's release another variant of the Deluxe BB mold, and a slight remold of the Leader Prime toy! That'll show those collectors!"

I saw the pic from Jason. While I think that this is great, I'm also still irked that neither Hasbro nor TakaraTomy can still pull off a show-accurate G1 Thrust. Both the BotCon and Henkei versions of him have his wings done like Classics/Henkei/Universe Starscream with them attached to his back, rather than to his legs legs Classics/Henkei Ramjet.

Now while this may seem difficult, given the placement of Thrust's wings in Vehicle Mode and the existence of his rear tailfins, I wouldn't call this task impossible. It would just take to creativity and ingenuity to pull off. Otherwise, we're just now stuck with two Thrusts that either have his wings placed like Screamer, or they're hanging from his waist (which would seem more correct, but isn't due to their correct position being on his legs).

But alas, we get what we get, I guess.

I'm not a member either, but the new Leader Prime can be viewed in Jason's video feed. It's just the normal ROTF Leader Prime with Buster OP's mouthplate-less head, his swords have been replaced with hooks, and there's a bunch of lame battle damage paint here and there on him.

IMO, the only thing that looks cool on this figure are the hooks.

We complain that Takara makes all the good stuff then complain when Hasbro imports anything.
Prime's battle damage looks quite lame but it has to look different in package or parents won't buy it. Most parents (or kids for that matter) won't think the hooks are a big deal. Incidentally the hooks are jointed so they can double as the swords. It's a nice effort anyway.
