Following the previous news of TakaraTomy's campaign for the Transformers toys of 2010 comes more info with more images.

Scans of Figure Oh! magazine issue 48 at the blog of Cybergundam reveal more images of these new exclusive items. Of noted importance is the new G1 Unicron redeco/remold of Armada Unicron. This time, we see the figure in a bigger sized image with better quality lighting, showing off the new color scheme in a much better view. We can now see that the orange isn't as loud and as "citrus" as previously seen, and his blacks are actually more-accurately colored deep grays.

Not to mention that we get a very good close up look at his all new headsculpt, bearing a greater resemblance to the head of Unicron from the 1986 G1 movie.

Also seen in these are scans is the 2-pack of Animated Deluxe Optimus and Rodimus, done in transluscent "crystal" schemes. The Deluxe Optimus of this set lacks his "Venom symbiote"-esque battle damage and comes with an all-red transluscent "Ultra Axe", giving it the appearance as though it were a fully energized weapon surging with energy.

Rodimus comes in a more deep ruby transluscent red than the more maroon deco that his normal figures will feature.

Also pictured are the MP-04S Convoy Sleep Mode figure and the Disney Label Buzz Lightyear figure. MP-04S Convoy comes with all the accessories his normal MP-04 version did, including his trailer decked out in a transluscent scheme (likely a nod to how it would always "disappear" in the G1 cartoon). His axe is now transluscent dark grey and his Megatron gun is transluscent purple (echoing the scene in the G1 movie where Megs got rebuilt by Unicron).

Buzz turns into his ship and will be a Headmaster of sorts.

It would seem that this G1 Unicron, despite not having been released yet, is already such a big hit that BBTS has already sold out on all pre-orders for this figure. Other places still have pre-orders yet to sell out, but you better hurry before they do.
