Full body look at Bumblebee from TF: Prime

Way back in March, we received our first glimpse at the design of Bumblebee as he will appear in the upcoming Transformers: Prime cartoon. However, all we got to see of him was merely his head, right arm, and parts of his upper body. Now, we have a look at his full body.

HissTank forum member gunslingercbr took a few snapshots of the Hasbro booth at the Licensing International Expo, which is currently taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The design of this new Bumblebee seems to draw heavily from that of Movie Bumblebee, while still being different enough to not be an exact imitation. His body form and figure are the same, but his features and details are more simplified and less intricate than what was seen in Movie BB's design.

Bumblebee's a winged horse with a rainbow tail? Man, when they reinvent, they really reinvent...

...okay, in all seriousness. Definately Bay-esque. There aren't enough really recognizable 'car parts' on him, though, so I'd wager that this is a Cybertronian form? The shoulders wheels running parallel to the chest is a nice asthetic touch.

That's interesting, a cartoon set on Cybertron would be interesting. Maybe we could have movieverse cybertronian characters, but I actually think that cybertronian Bayformers would look more complicated like movie Megatron or the Fallen. I would be interested if they reinvented this process, or even if they did a movieverse reboot. Think about it... a movieverse TV show? It's like a distant dream, but it would be cool...

I'll reserve judgment until I see the actual animation, however if this is the starting point, I remain skeptical. There doesn't seem to be that much room for expression on BB's face, and I don't know that I'm all that wild about a cartoon that appears to be using the Bay movies as a jumping off point.
