TF3 news - new bot faces, no Stunticons, & Rosie's character
More and more news regarding the third live action Transformers movie continues to appear in just about everywhere on the Internet. Aside from the occasional video leaks and whatnot, more bits of information have come our way.
First, The Scorecard Review has several images from the Chicago film site of the movie. In these images, we are shown the faces of some of the robot characters attached to poles that are used to show the positions of the CGI models when interacting with the human characters. Among these faces is a new one that sort of resembles an elderly man with white hair and a mustache.
Among the speculations about who this new character could be is the possibility of him being Kup. When asked about it, Shoot For The Edit site admin Nelson responded, "Wrong, no Kup."
In another view of the Chicago film site, TFW2005 has images of another new character's head, only this one looks a little more familiar. Having previously heard that Shockwave would be an antagonist in this film, a new head bearing a resemblance to the typical Shockwave head look has shown up. Now we can't say for certain that this head is Shockwave, but it's a good possibility.
Finally, two more bits from Nelson of Shoot For The Edit. One is that he confirms that the meched-out NASCAR race cars are not Stunticons, nor are they Omnibots (another fan theory). The other is in regards to the character that Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (Megan Fox's replacement as Sam's love interest). It has been revealed that her character will be named none other than "Carly", the same name of the girlfriend/wife of G1 Spike Witwicky and the wife of Animated Spike Witwicky.
