Here's quite the talker! Fans have been asking for this for years and this adds another layer of confirmation to the rumors about a new Transformers Cartoon, produced in the U.S. Seibertron.com reports, Cartoon Network's program schedule for 2007 leaked this week over at ToonTalk. Among the series listed for the fall 2007 skew is a show called Transformers: Heroes, which is being produced by CN Studios. The listing states:

The Transformers are back! Arriving on Earth of the future, where robots are common place as humanity's servant class. But Earth's robots have a secret that may doom humanity and their unlikely Autobot saviors."

Wow. Whatdya make of that!?!? Is there even a slight chance that Cullen/Welker could team up in Transformers animation again?! Produced by CN studios... How very intriguing!

That would be a neet twist. Having the servent class robots either being Decpticons or the prize the tfs are fighting over.

I like the idea of it being set in the future, because then it's easier to blend its story in w/ the other TF continuities.

I'm also glad to hear it's not being done domestically by Hasbro, gives me greater confidence that it'll be well done.

The idea that the servant class of human made robots as Decepticons? Um, what? I have a very hard time figuring how how or what that would be cool. Too bad it's not set to start in Sept of 06 rather than 07. Oh, well. Good things come to those who wait...

All i ask is a lack of goofy gimmicks used to sell toys. Give us a good story with logical character development and motive behind the bots actions. not just the same Optimus is selfless because thats the way he is and Megatron is a villian because its easier.
how about a sense of disgust at the virtual slavery the humans subject the bots to and a sense that the humans dont believe that machines are alive maybe something philisophical(sic) like that.
