The day has finally arrived! (and none too soon for me!)  We're ready to unveil our 4th Accessory Pack! and answer all your questions.  You may have heard some of the basics from an earlier (Iacon) version, but we do have a few surprises in store...

Each pack includes 2 solid alloy GOLDEN DISKS and a new color Disk Reader attachment (designed for, but not required, Transmetal Megatron).
The packaging, includes special paragraphs written by Larry DiTillio and Bob Forward, Co-Authors and Executive story editors for Beast Wars...

Yes, we will be at Botcon and they will be available there.
Can't make it to the convention, but still want one?  PRE-ORDERS available at bigbadtoystore.com (coming soon!)
Yes, we will also have a large assortment of MISB Beast Wars Toys and previous Botcon exclusive toys for sale.  So, if you're in the market or even if not, come on down and say, "hello!"  We look forward to meeting you!

More info available HERE plus more to come.  SEE YOU SOON!

That rocks! I don't yet have TM Megs, but he's been on the to get list for a while. He just jummped to the top of the list. After Iacon One I figgured I was out of luck with these accessories. I'm very glad to be wrong.

One question I've been asked a few times now, "Is this pack the same as the one released as an IaconOne exclusive?" The answer is, sort of but not exactly. Theirs, like other Botcon, convention exclusive figures, was a recolor. (Or ours is the recolor depending upon your point of view!) The disk reader in the Iacon exclusive came w/ a blue-grey color scheme. The version we will offer, is a very stylin' charcoal. The disks are the exact same and of course our packaging is completely different. Thanks for the great feedback!

I'm sorry but this Infuriates me. I'm not a collector. I open my toys, and throw away thier boxes. And I went to Iacon simply because it was a new TF con an hour away from me and I wanted to support them. I picked up the golden disks cause they were a great exclusive. And I was shocked when I learned they had gone up in value. I was also overjoyed to know I at last had something other than a few of my Comics that had appreciated in value. What ticks me off is that there is nothing to seperate these disks from the original. this isn't like the TargetMaster Jazz re-issue. the originals keep thier value. this feels like "Oh these went up in value? our bad...here let us fix that."

I paid $300 for my Botcon box set. Imagine if in a few months you can pick up the Dawn of Future Past box for a fraction of the price cause someone released a whole slew more and killed the value. It would piss you off that you'd been a good fan and supported the sellers at the time of launch.

No offense, Kaijumaster, but if you are concerned with value, you should be in the stock market. If you bought them after Iacon for some super-inflated ebay price, then I'd understand where you are coming from, but you didn't. Basically, you're upset because: (a) you opened the box; (b) the set is going to be distributed through someone else; and ergo (c) it is not as valuable on the secondary market.

I say screw the secondary market. Life is a crap shoot. If you wanted inflated prices, you should have sold high. It's not Unicron.com's fault that they fluctuate in value or that they wanted to do something awesome for the fan community.

And what a something. I'll be in line. The disks are a thing of beauty.

Unfortunately, that's the downside of being a TF collector. I picked up the BWR set from Takara several months ago, before I had any idea it'd be a Hasbro release, so I paid about twice what I would have. Call it an impatience fee. I can't fault these guys for wanting to make more of these available, as I got a set from JRS toyworld and they're just beautiful and compliment the figures they're meant for quite well. Then again, I'd be pretty mad had I paid $250 for them like I saw on eBay.

My one complaint is that they have no mount peg for Dinobot to hold them, so he's pretty much restricted to holding them aloft like he's pontificating. Other than that they did us Beast Wars fans quite a service.

Kaijumaster, did you plan on selling them again anyways? If not, then the 'value' really shouldn't affect you whatsoever. The more important value is what they mean to you anyways. You said it yourself that you didn't buy them to sell back or anything.

Perhaps this will clear up some concerns.
-The second release of this product has been recolored. This was understood in advance by the organizers of Iacon One.
-Even out of packaging, the difference between these two accessory packs is easily notable. (a method Hasbro itself has used many times over)

Hopefully Kaijumaster got his venting out and feels better now.

Perceptor-Is this set going to be avialable at Shinder's also? Or, is it bbts only?
