Read on if you don't mind another spoiler from Transformers Movie...   E-bay seller "SPX" is auctioning a few new toys we presume to be from the upcoming Transformers Movie.  Unpainted prototypes of .............             a digital camera and cell phone.  He also recently added a new auction for a painted prototype of the phone.  Wow.  Very cool.

UPDATE: also, check out Nevermore's thread with picture links on the Allspark forums, which include color images of the cell phone in robot mode as well as the handheld (looks like a ~gameboy type system).

These toys look GREAT, however, I'm not so sure I'm glad to see'm. I hope internet auctions like this don't ruin every coming surprise of the film...

i dont think those are in the movie. I think that those are toys for a later series. Maybe for the Cartoon network show coming after the movie.

I doubt these will show up in the movie. For one, they look way too simple compaired to the other character designs that have been leaked out.
And considering that there's only supposed to be about 12 characters in the movie, I don't think it's a stretch to think that Hasbro wouln't try and beef up the movie based toyline by releasing a ton of other characters under the Transformers Movie licence.
Personally, I can't say I'm that impressed.
I can't imagine how someone would feel buying one of these for $50 to $100, and then in five months these are selling in stores for about $7 to $10, and the characters don't even show up in the movie!
But then again, I'm by no means a completist myself, and only go for figures I think are really cool, or are of characters like (usually both).

i think that the seller should show u the printed hasbro logo on the toy ,to prove that its not a knock off . because we all know there have been hundreds of knock offs in the past.

We have first seen these toys on the Japanese Patent Office website. Takara don't tend to patent knockoffs, and I don't think it's reasonable that KO companies would be able to create such a high quality KO of a toy that hasn't even been released yet. Plus, the seller regularly sells leaked pre-production items of upcoming Hasbro products. He should be able to tell the difference between legit stuff and fakes.

I really like them. It goes back to G1. These are toys that look like everyday items in alt mode and still transform. If I had to state any one complaint about recent lines, it's that the alt modes (think armada prime) would stick out like a sore thumb if seen out in public.
