G1 for PS2

In July 2007 not only will we get TF the Movie, but we will also get as close to a G1 video game here in the states as we are going to get. In 2001 Japan released a game for PS2. We never saw it here in the states. Does anybody know why it wasn't sold domestically? I heard the game was not bad and if you can figure out some way to play it on your PS2 or if you have a JP PS2 let us know. Many fans have been unable to get their hands on a copy and enjoy it.

The voices of the personages weren't given free. I don't know which one or compagny did not gave its approval, but the original Japanese actors had different rights. So maybe it's that. But I am not completely sure about this, I just heart rumors about it.

Most people who got their hands on the Japanese PS2 G1 game confirmed that it's a waste of money. Transformations totally useless, difficult controls, no real point in the game, bad graphics... Even a game website that reviewed both the Armada game and "Tatakae" came to the conclusion that the G1 game, despite being G1, sucked in comparison to the Armada one.

As long as it's better than the G1 game for the NES I'd play it.

I saw a demo of the game once. I think Hasbro should allow the game to be released. I mean god it can't be any worse than that Beast Wars game that came out for PS1. That was truly horrible.

I wonder if Hasbro visits any of the TF websites. Maybe they will read this and say hey lets have it shipped over here. The public do have some control over what gets put out. Just look at Family Guy and Futurerama. Our fan base is bigger than those and both those cartoons got put back on the air. Or will be soon. Maybe the same could be said for some never released video games.

How come they don't release a video game for every TF series god they make a million bad Gundam and Dragon Ball games. Armada was cool. The bots looked good they may have moved really weird and clunky but still cool game.

They shoudl release it. Sony puts out a lot of good games and some bad ones. Also we as the fans loved it when we heard it was being made. Then Hasbro or Sony pulled the plug on the game what is that about.
