I wish that the Masterpieces would come out to the States and not be imports. Their pretty classy figures, just way to expensive for imports. I mean, Wal-Mart's Movie 20th Anniversary Prime is about $30 now just because everybody bought the first one. Imports just cost way too much. The most I've spent on any figure was $92 on my Transmetal Ravage, thus it being my favorite figure because it left the biggest hole in my wallet.

Bah. Who cares about Masterpiece Starscream? Now Masterpiece Megatron, that's a figure to buy...

Not even Perceptor likes Perceptor. I swear TPR you could have a career in Transformer stand-up comedy.

I couldn't care about Masterpiece Starscream, I mean I'm not wasting money on something that's not even painted the right colors. Besides classics starscream is just as good, you may still have to take off the guns and switch their places but still better in every way, it even has all the colors in the right spots like the show. And lets not for get how cheap it is. Avg. price $9.99

the sad thing is... the only masterpiece i have is the classics reissue of prime! Megatron's my favourite character and Starscream? I just hope if Megatron is brought to Canada all I can say is Birthday time. also where is that god damn page on power master prime... sheesh

I would like to see all the various MP's brought across the pond to the U S and A. But, I'm not holding my breath.

From what I've heard about the Japanise toy industry, there are very real differences in marketing and prospective buyers of toys. This is primaraly due to cultural differences. In the USA there is still a very real stigma attached to the "adult toy collector". In part because it is still a fairly new phenomenon. After all the VAST majorty of toy colletors state side are 35 and under. Which means, the vast majority of adults and power brokers in any industry see toys as strictly for kids.

This differs greatly from Japan where major industries have things like Hello Kitty as their masscot. Which makes toy collecting acceptable and common.

Unfortunatly there isn't enough of a collector base to make good business sense here in the States. If it helps anyone, it's a matter of when toy colleting is accepted not if.

Once again I could care less about getting a Masterpiece. This time Megatron. Megatron because it does not come with all the parts and attachments and just looks really dumb with out them. I know I know It's a G1 Megatron replica but IDC I'm just really... picky about things like that.

Hey I dont have the MP-03 Starscream yet but I am thinking about buying him. he's the only masterpiece I wont have and I would like to know if he is really worth the money.
