Transformers movie almost got R rating

Live action Transformers Movie was going to get an R rating from the MPAA. Spielberg then intervened, arguing for it to be rated PG-13. Read about it here.

Not suprising. There's a LOT of action in there but I think Hasbro and Speilberg want this movie to be successful which it WON'T be if its Rated R.

I'm glad it's not going R. While I'm far from a G1 purist, an R rating is not in keeping with TFs as I know them.
