If new DVDs are produced, they better have some amazing special features, because there is no way I am going to pick them again for no reason. Keep in mind, there were 5 original boxsets, at $60 a pop, that's $300. That's a lot of cash to dish out, just to end up buying the same thing over again.

That's why I put in the posting about if you didn't get the Kid Rihno version. I can't imagine too many people will dish out that much money agian. About the only way I can imagine doing it personally is if it was done as one giant box set at $100-$150. Even then I don't know if I'd actually part with $150.

I hear ya'. Now if they throw one of the Japanese series on them, that'd be a different story. If they put the complete series of HM, MF, V, and Z on the boxes, I'd be all over that. But that's really what it's going to take for me to want to pick them up.

I agree. The simple problem is no matter how much magic you do in "digitally remastering" it's still the orginal product with better color and sound. And if you're not into "extras" that isn't going to draw you in for a second set of DVDs which you already own. That said, I'd like a better version of the G1 series. I just don't know how much I'm really willing to spend.

If they did HM, MF, V, and the one epsiode of Zone and Scramble City, I'd be all over it.

If you missed out on Rhino, checdk out the Chinese box set. i got it for 50 shipped and it is definately of high quality.
