Well, at least we confirmed a new series. But seriously "Transformers: Animated"? Might as well call it "Transformers: It Doesn't Suck!" But, like I said, we can look forward to new stuff for 2008.

Wait, is this a series seperate from Transformers: Heroes, or did it get a name change?

It never was "Heroes". That's a rumor another site started and everyone else ran with it, since there was never anything else to call it.

I like the name, it's purpose is to serve in direct contrast to the Transformers: "LIVE" that we're all going to become accustomed to over the summer. This is a show that will be traditonally cell animated and heavily featured on Cartoon Network. I have been told (from an inside source), to think of it like a Transformers version of Extreme Spider-Man or X-Men Evolutions... ---> Extreme Transformers!

There is the rumor that this show will take place during G1 after the events in season 3 er 4 but definetly after the movie.

one name comes to mind when I think of transformers "Animated" , and that is Krypto the superdog

I think it will be based on the 2007 movie.
