Fanboys influence Hollywood

TIME magazine has put together a very interesting article about the influence fanboys (and girls) have had upon Hollywood, what movies are being made and even how they're being produced.  Although not a Transformers specific article, there is a lot of mention to the upcoming summer film and its writers Robert Orci and Alex Kurtzman.  Interesting stuff, check it out!

Thanks to the Allspark.com for the heads up.

IDK I guess I'm a fanboy but a geek I am not. I also love the new home page looks just like their myspace page.

I have no problem admitting I'm a fanboy. And, if anything, it's surprising it took this long for Hollywood to recognize us.

I remember being mildly annoyed at the '89 Batman movie. The Joker didn't kill Thomas and Martha Wayne. Thankfully it's actually not that big a deal in the movie. But, I could not stand Barbra Gordon being Alfred Pennyworth's neice in Batman Forever. That was just WAY, WAY wrong.

It's things like that that studios need to listen to us about, not so much that we don't like the new costumes. Or in the case of many TF fans,"We didn't like the 'bot modes." After all they do have to do somethings new. Otherwise, there would be no point in doing the movies.
